I really had fun making this video and the other Skylander related videos on the channel! I know I'm not an actual Skytuber but I grew up with the franchise and I enjoyed the games. I got wham shell and the whole trap team start pack for $20. Both lightcore and normal hex in a random lot of 15 figures for $20, and a bunch of other harder-esk figures to find.
My dream skylanders game would have 10 well stocked figures, one of each element and a different gameplay style. It would be open world to take advantage of the freedom of swapping you character anytime and fast travel would operate with portals since the player is a portal master. There would be goals, a plot, level like areas but it would mostly be freely exploring chunks of skylands. And then if it does well they could make dlc like imaginators except well stocked and you buy the levels digitally while corresponding skylanders release.

Like maybe the dlc could add giants areas or traptanium around the map and they sell they secret 9nth dark giant or another light trap master or something. Although they’d probably screw up a new trap master and not give it the trap master emblem every other trap master has on their armour.
As a kid, I used to believe skylanders fell to earth wanted to look for one. Man I was stupid but even though I only started playing skylanders around swap force, I still love this series
I just have a relation with the Skylanders that I don't have with any other game... I love every Skylanders game and still play them to this very day (except Imaginators because I can't find it). I still listen to this magnificient OST especially when I have to work Mathematics (it's my main source of determination and focus, so good grades). Thank you dude !

When I was somewhere around 6-10 years old I always used to play these games on my Xbox 360. I started with Skylanders Giants and even if I don't really remember when I got it( Now when writing i remember i played it at my friends house on his birthday i even remember what chapter we played and game, i wanted it so bad my parents got it for me). I have so many fond memories of it. When I had finished Giants for the first time (which took a long time due to saving problems) on my birthday later that day I got swap force for my birthday. I played through it and eventually got trap team and played through that. then when i heard about superchargers i did not like it ( Was never a car loving kid) but after a while i got it and... did not like it as much as the other games. I never got Ssa or imaginators and i stopped playing. Earlier this year i found a Skylanders video on youtube and found this community. I only found your channel one month ago but i have watched your earlier videos and like it so I'm subed. Thank you for making this video and talking about the game I've been searching for more RUclipsrs making Skylanders content and you've shown some i seem interested about that i didn't know about. 9:45 I have a faint memory of actually getting Lightcore Pop Fizz, where I was visiting my grandpa and when my visit was near done, we went to Walmart and not only did I find Lightcore Pop Fizz but also Lightcore Chill, but my grandpa said I could only get one because I already bought to figures from the TMNT 2012 toy line up.

I remember when spyros adventure came out I was in the 5th grade and was saving money for some xbox 360 game, then I one of my friends told me about skylanders. And that I could use toys in the game. I was interested so I got the original starter pack and with that I bought chop chop. The game was one of the best games to play when i was a kid chop chop and trigger happy where my favorite. The. Each game after that I would just buy 2 of the special characters like 2 giant, or trap masters. Then I would buy 2 core skylanders, I would keep doing that until superchargers where I stop really caring for the franchise so I didn't buy the starter pack for superchargers. I still have all of my skylanders on a shelf I'm going to keep them there until I find interest in playing them.

If you never owned skylanders than you don’t have a life. You also never had a childhood. Kids that never had skylanders are weird now. I have asked kids in my class and they said they never played it. I even showed some people pictures and some recognized the game and said they have them in a bucket or they said there friend has skylanders or they didn’t even know. The people that said they played skylanders once at there ONLY friends house and the people that said they don’t know what skylanders has never knew what it was didn’t really have that much friends and some of them get bullied. This is 7TH grade I’m talking about here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s crazy!

I had so much fun with this series with my younger brother. The release of Giants was honestly as exciting to me as a mainstream Pokemon game. That’s how hype this series was for me at one point. Also Whirlwind is GOAT 🐐

My Skylanders story starts with my brother and I getting SSA for Christmas we got the starter pack and we got a lot of figures and I played Skylanders all the way to imaginators I've played every game
Skylanders Giants is my favourite in the series, I wasn't a huge fan of the change in direction after the first two but I have played them all atleast partially. My biggest gripe in the whole series though is that Imaginatiors on Switch dropped the organisation system for your virtually saved skylanders figures making switching characters a chore.
Mine was running through Giants for the second time on nightmare difficulty it was hard but it was fun it was very fun even though it took out half of my Skylanders collection the first arena.
I remember after Giants released I was hoping for a new Boomer figure to release, for him to eventually release as a Eon Elite when I stopped being as into Skylanders. Boomer still my favorite Skylander though
I used to be OBSESSED with U.B. Funkys as a kid🤣😂🤣😂, Funny as you mention that😁, but then in 2012 Christmas with this Franchise.... I said my respectful goodbyes to my Wallet😂🤣
I’m still sad that it ended and won’t be show here for the new generation but I’m also glad that I was even able to play this game and how many good memories that came along with it so thank you for your videos because it always brings me to tears to bring such a good way to show why this was a amazing to play from then and now so I thank you again skylanders FOREVER
I know this is an old video question, but there actually eleven games in total if you count the 3ds games, six mains games and five 3ds games equal to eleven games in total
My favorit game is defenetly giants. It was my first game, and for a 6 year old, my mind was blown. I collected every single giant, almost all the lightcores, and a good handful of standards. It has been so nostalgic for me to go back to the series, and just enjoy it from beginning to end. (If there are any mispellings, is because im from denmark lol)
I didnt spend my skylanders childhood like any other skylanders kid, i started from giants and trap team i barley knew what swap force and spyros adventure were until a couple years later, either way, i am really surprised there are still people who talk about skylanders and still collect figures, personally my country now is in a bad state, so i cant go spend my money all on skylanders, but every time i got a skylander it felt like a miracle. I consider it a blessing i can still find youtubers that give me nostaliga waves and convince me to buy skylanders again
A couple years ago I got out some of my skylanders for the 10th anniversary of Giants. After playing through that game for the 100th time I wanted to try to finish my collection of the first three games. Now I almost have a complete Spyro's Adventure collection Camo and Wham-Shell are impossible to find) and Giants collection (I haven been able to find Series 2 Drobot or Series 2 Drill Sergeant)
That outro solidified my reinvestment into skylanders. I probably overpaid but I currently have 3 of the 4 most recent games coming to my house from eBay and I'm going to start collecting the figures again. Can't wait to start playing. My girlfriend who never played is also excited to play.
I was lucky to get Wamshell at toys r us back then from a shopping kart that I believe that had that current wave in it that was brought out to people there for Skylanders at the time in uk
In my opinion, skylanders REALLY needed virtual characters as DLC. I could never complete any game 100% because they all required too many figures that I simply did not find in my country. I could never even gather 1 of each element for any game, due to Swap Force requiring Giants for some chests, which I don't own and trap team making elemental gates only accessible to trap masters. I also don't wanna keep so many toys. I would have bought the characters as DLC though, just to 100% each game.
The chests in Swap Force that could only be opened by Giants wasn't necessarily to open for 100% completion, but I still understand what you mean. A lot of figures were hard to find so buying them digitally would help a lot!
I recently got back into the franchise cause my dad stopped buying the things after trap team (I got into the franchise when I got the wii u bundle with swap force) and I forgot about it until recently and I've been getting so much nostalgia I decided to buy giants, super chargers, and imaginators and it is one of my favorite video game franchise
@@Mikeinoid honestly this video is amazing. (I feel inclined to say my favorite game is Giants btw) one of my favorite things about the series isn’t even the games at all. It’s the community. There aren’t too many people, but the fandom is so passionate about the games that the community feels huge! We’ve got Portal Casters with their podcasts, SCL Matt with basically the official and probably most efficient way to get used skylanders and fans who make music about skylanders! It’s just so cool! Also the music is good in those games and I even speed up some of the music tracks on my channel or whatever ;)
I finally found my missing magic trap and it doesn't even work anymore. Maybe that's what it gets for starting quarantine by being buried in dirt for a whole year
Ah skylanders I remember playing these games with my brother unfortunately I sold almost all my skylanders away but I don't feel bad doing it the guy I sold them to was a father and bought them from me for there kid I still have some skylanders left as my personal collection not a lot but still have them now when I play skylanders again I kind of use..nfc cards mostly because my room is filled with tones of games and amiibo.
I have an idea they should make skylanders sqaud battles, with different type of squads and, u can customize ur own squads and its a 3 player game and if ur playing solo then u can switch around with them. My squad is stealth elf, countdown and blades

Ah, the Giants 3DS starter set, they did such a good job with the Spyro's Adventure and Swap Force starters on 3DS, but they screwed Giants up so badly, would it have been so hard to replace Cinder and Tree Rex with something like Hot Head and Chop Chop?
Watching this video gave me so many memories as a kid when I would play ub funkies all the time until the stopped selling em.and school became more difficult but when I went to toys r us it was even spyro that I saw the got me into skylanders it was the first skylander I got who holds a very dear close place in my heart for skylanders next to camo is Zap, when I first saw him I loved his design and I didn't care if it was a statute or a poseable figure he looked cool and that's all that mattered only until I saw him in one of the commercials did ik what I needed to do next and so for Christmas my dad had got my skylanders spyros adventure for the Wii and I played skylanders up to I believe trap team or swap force then switched to Xbox 4 the better graphics and the I stopped playing alltogether around superchargers
I display mine on a shelf in the back of my room just so they dont break cause my cousin had all the skylanders in swapforce they all broke in a clear tote

My favorit game is defenetly giants. It was my first game, and for a 6 year old, my mind was blown. I collected every single giant, almost all the lightcores, and a good handful of standards. It has been so nostalgic for me to go back to the series, and just enjoy it from beginning to end. (If there are any mispellings, is because im from denmark lol)

I didnt spend my skylanders childhood like any other skylanders kid, i started from giants and trap team i barley knew what swap force and spyros adventure were until a couple years later, either way, i am really surprised there are still people who talk about skylanders and still collect figures, personally my country now is in a bad state, so i cant go spend my money all on skylanders, but every time i got a skylander it felt like a miracle. I consider it a blessing i can still find youtubers that give me nostaliga waves and convince me to buy skylanders again

A couple years ago I got out some of my skylanders for the 10th anniversary of Giants. After playing through that game for the 100th time I wanted to try to finish my collection of the first three games. Now I almost have a complete Spyro's Adventure collection Camo and Wham-Shell are impossible to find) and Giants collection (I haven been able to find Series 2 Drobot or Series 2 Drill Sergeant)
That outro solidified my reinvestment into skylanders. I probably overpaid but I currently have 3 of the 4 most recent games coming to my house from eBay and I'm going to start collecting the figures again. Can't wait to start playing. My girlfriend who never played is also excited to play.

In my opinion, skylanders REALLY needed virtual characters as DLC. I could never complete any game 100% because they all required too many figures that I simply did not find in my country. I could never even gather 1 of each element for any game, due to Swap Force requiring Giants for some chests, which I don't own and trap team making elemental gates only accessible to trap masters. I also don't wanna keep so many toys. I would have bought the characters as DLC though, just to 100% each game.
The chests in Swap Force that could only be opened by Giants wasn't necessarily to open for 100% completion, but I still understand what you mean. A lot of figures were hard to find so buying them digitally would help a lot!
I recently got back into the franchise cause my dad stopped buying the things after trap team (I got into the franchise when I got the wii u bundle with swap force) and I forgot about it until recently and I've been getting so much nostalgia I decided to buy giants, super chargers, and imaginators and it is one of my favorite video game franchise

@@Mikeinoid honestly this video is amazing. (I feel inclined to say my favorite game is Giants btw) one of my favorite things about the series isn’t even the games at all. It’s the community. There aren’t too many people, but the fandom is so passionate about the games that the community feels huge! We’ve got Portal Casters with their podcasts, SCL Matt with basically the official and probably most efficient way to get used skylanders and fans who make music about skylanders! It’s just so cool!
Also the music is good in those games and I even speed up some of the music tracks on my channel or whatever ;)

Ah skylanders I remember playing these games with my brother unfortunately I sold almost all my skylanders away but I don't feel bad doing it the guy I sold them to was a father and bought them from me for there kid I still have some skylanders left as my personal collection not a lot but still have them now when I play skylanders again I kind of use..nfc cards mostly because my room is filled with tones of games and amiibo.
At least they went to a good home! Nothing wrong with using NFC cards 🤣

Ah, the Giants 3DS starter set, they did such a good job with the Spyro's Adventure and Swap Force starters on 3DS, but they screwed Giants up so badly, would it have been so hard to replace Cinder and Tree Rex with something like Hot Head and Chop Chop?

Watching this video gave me so many memories as a kid when I would play ub funkies all the time until the stopped selling em.and school became more difficult but when I went to toys r us it was even spyro that I saw the got me into skylanders it was the first skylander I got who holds a very dear close place in my heart for skylanders next to camo is Zap, when I first saw him I loved his design and I didn't care if it was a statute or a poseable figure he looked cool and that's all that mattered only until I saw him in one of the commercials did ik what I needed to do next and so for Christmas my dad had got my skylanders spyros adventure for the Wii and I played skylanders up to I believe trap team or swap force then switched to Xbox 4 the better graphics and the I stopped playing alltogether around superchargers
