Of course you know it was the thumbnail that made me look. Disappointed you didn't go down that road of larger commercial or heavier use commercial trailers.
And then it was pretty much the same branded usual suspects. Try and be more interesting.

Hi @tconnolly9820. We are the manufacturer of the heavy cargo displayed in the thumbnail. If you're interested in it, take a look at Pelican Cycles - pelican train ! Best,

@@AlexPelicanCycles Thank you for that. It was really cheap and mean of the creator to use your amazing looking product as a thumbnail and then not feature it in the video which I suspect is sponsored by the featured manufacturers.
I also left a long response under the other comment disabusing him of his ridiculously biased opinion but I see it's disappeared.
I will check out Pelican Cycles and see what you have. I wasn't aware of your company before this so thank you. I am a private cyclist in Ireland and have a couple of ordinary although slightly larger trailers I use regularly and they really turn any ordinary bike into a cargo bike and a real world practical alternative to a car for a fraction of the cost.
      Regards. T.

@@AlexPelicanCycles Just spent some time looking at the Pelican and the BKL websites. Very impressive.
Question since you left ta message here. I am actively in the market for a first workhorse e-bike.
Do BKL have a retailer/s in Ireland? If yes, I would like to check them out. I'm 2 metres tall so not everything is a good fit regardless...... 🤷‍♂️

Ok, so it's fun to post a stupid comment and think you're being clever or funny.
First of all, everything you mentioned will generally be delivered free of charge anyway.
And how many people can fit a fridge or king size building materials (whatever that is?) into a car?
You use a trailer with a bike as an alternative or a supplement to a car.
Saves you money, especially if it's to replace a second car or even to go car free.
Reduces pollution and car congestion. Gives loads of health benefits from the additional exercise and is great for being more social and meeting people casually and great for mental health as well as physical health.
I have a car but with a €500 bike and a €130 trailer I can carry 70kg of weekly shopping, 50 litres of tractor diesel, a full sized lawnmower, a king-size duvet into the dry cleaners. The list goes on and on......
Living in a rural area, I do most of my commuting by bike within a 10 km area whenever practical and convenient. Which is the majority of the time. And considerably further afield too when it's practical.
All of the large appliances in my kitchen and house were delivered. For free.
      Beds, furniture, all the rest.
Building materials for a large renovation were all delivered for free. It's pretty much standard.
Stop being a dick and think your dumb comments through before you start typing.

Ok, so I suppose you think it makes you look clever or funny making a dumb ass comment like that when you didn't even think it through?
First of all, an ordinary car isn't going to be able to transport a large fridge or king size building materials (whatever that is?), so that's just being stupid.
And secondly, why would you? Almost every retailer delivers all of these large purchases for free anyway!
I have a car and a trailer for it too.
I also have a €500 ordinary bike and two trailers that cost €131 and €105.
I live in a rural area and I can easily carry 70kg of weekly shopping, 50 litres of tractor diesel, a full sized lawnmower or a king-size duvet into the dry cleaners. And so much more. I'm getting stuff done that I would have to do anyway instead of using the car and it's a whole lot more fun too.
I do most of my commuting by bike in a 10km radius and as much as is practical much further afield.
A bike (and a trailer) can save huge amounts of money if they replace a second car or even as a full car replacement if it works for you, depending on individual circumstances.
It saves me money, it's non impact exercise and good for my health. It's good for the environment and reduces congestion and it's great for socialising and meeting people as well as great for mental as well as physical health.
All of my large kitchen appliances were delivered for free. And most of my furniture and beds and so on. I got major house renovations done and all delivered for free. How dumb would you have to be not to take advantage of that?
So next time stop and think and don't be a dick.
