A little water sits in the bottom tray and is absorbed by the filter, as the fan shares the moist air it dries out a bit, the water drips slowly from the tanks and that's the cycle until it is empty - Hope this helps
Try giving the water tanks a little press down when they are in the unit, there should be some water sat in the bottom of the unit that gets drawn up through the blue filter this adds a slight cooling effect to the fan - Hope this helps
Make sure your filter is getting wet from the water tanks, there should be a little water sat in the bottom of the unit. The fan does not actually chill the water or air in any way, so is effectively a fan, the water stops the air from being dry and adds just a bit of cooling - Hope this helps
Oh, that’s a shame. We picked up the silvercrest version of this and find the water container to be a bit better in it. If you have your receipt you should return it to Aldi, they have very good customer service.

What kind of usb cord does it use? Lost mine during moving

Mines been running for days and hasn't used any water?? Have I missed a step? It's on.. on 3 .. has water 💧 but its still full after days of running??

I'm trying to find a way to clean it on the inside. Anyone happen to know how to get into it to clean the fan and filter?
Lift out the water tank and then slide the filter out of the side. Hope this helps.
