I'd bet money Ben didn't even listen to the speech. His peons just gave him spark notes with their own twisted narrative. It's interesting Ben says how no one will listen to the speech but I bet he didn't until he went over it.
I have been trying to figure out foe the better part of 6-7 years if Ben is a grifter, an idiot, or a combo of both. I honestly could not tell if Ben believes most of what he says (except his anti trans stuff). What sets me off is Ben saying Biden is being aggressive or violent towards half the country (when it isn't, Biden was very clear who he was talking about) while ignoring virtually everything Trump said publicly about those who opposed him (mostly democrats, which actually represents most voters and citizens in general). Ben has never been good but he has gotten notably worse over the last 5 years.

They framed people telling them that they are wrong and them being wrong hurts people as "bleeding heart cry babies", while at the same time crying foul and persecution for simply pointing out that they are wrong and that they are hurting people....
They NEVER cared about facts, or even an equal playing field. Just remember how they freaked out about suppossed slides against them by Hillary. And then compare what she said, to how Trump talked about women, immigrants or other minorities.

@@drock9009 Sorry to hear about your brother in law, I actually used to be the same way in my early 20's. Someone would point out that something I said was sexist or racist and instead of asking them to clarify or self-reflecting, I'd yell about how brainwashed they were and how much they were embarrassing me (ironically). Then I'd go and write horrible things about them in my diary. Now I use those regretful memories to fight against the alt-right, more efficiently than most people in my opinion.
What ultimately changed me was a very close friend telling me to my face that she felt threatened and miserable around me, and then giving me the silent treatment for a few weeks. She didn't over-dramatize it, just scooted away whenever I sat next to her and only responded to my texts or college assignment questions with minimum words. She made me realize that proving a point was not worth losing her.
Perhaps your brother in law will come around too, once he faces real consequences for his behavior. No guarantees obviously.

The problem is my brother-in-law thinks everyone is wrong and he is right. He was offered to get medicine from his doctor to help him with his problems to help with his anxiety and mental health issues but he said no he will never start any medicine because it is for the weak. But he is fine to hurt and help ruin his family. He sucks the oxygen out of the room when he enters and is so negative. But yeah we have to walk on eggshells around him. My sis just had a baby and he has been with his son and my sis helping for maybe all together 48 hours in 2 months. Truly disgusting! He gaslights her saying she has been having an attitude and how she doesn't know how to do this nor that when he hasn't been there at all for them. I have stepped up as an uncle and my parents have helped as well. Just horrible how these guys act and just think they are right and everyone else is the problem. I have been wanting to snap so much on him but again if I did I would probably never get to see my nephew. That is who he is.

Well so far their methods were worky. The fear mongering was garnering popularity, clicks, views, finances and emboldened the most radical and extreme corners of the party. But we are seeing a push back begin because they failed to realise that a majority of Americans actually do not want their policies. It began with Roe V Wade being over turned. I believe you are mistaken on that particular point (the inner workings of the "Be Prepared" visuals specifically, I'm not talking about anything political). From what i remember there were 3 main color schemes that had developed during the song.
The first dominating color is indeed green, but it was used because it is associated with greed and envy (Scar wanting the throne).
We then have yellow as the dominating color for a short time. That was the color which was inspired by old propaganda films, not green.
Finally we have the classic and obvious red which was used to represent evil.
All 3 themes are parts of both the song's visuals and lyrics.
