1.Smallest panna biosphere reserve.it is located in the Panna and Chhatarpur districts of Madhya Pradesh with an area of around 540 km. sqm.
Recently UNESCO included it in the Man and Biosphere Programme (MAB).
2.Kachchh Biosphere Reserve is the largest biosphere in terms of area .it spread over area of 12,454 kmsq covering parts of four districts namely Kachchh, Rajkot, Surendranagar and Patan districts of Gujarat .

Panna tiger reserve (M.P) included in global network of biosphere reserve by UNESCO in nov.2020. Panna tiger reserve was notified as a biosphere reserve by MoEFCC in 2011. 2. Largest/biggest biosphere reserve is great rann of kutch, Gujrat covering the area of 12454 square km. it is known as one of the largest salt deserts in the world because it is in Thar desert of Gujrat region.
