Bah, the quality of this composition stands out either way bud, you should be proud because holy shit, you nailed it on all fronts. This destroys the SNES arrangement in every way possible.
Genesis did NOT disappoint with the funky bass!
One of the best covers of this song musically and sound design-wise. The powerful percussion, aggressive bass, the mixed usage of PSG and FM channels to simulate certain synth timbres, and the core sound of the lead guitar from the RoB version being faithfully captured in this version; everything about this is great!
My god, the Genesis's punchy bass and guitar sounds SO good here. Great job man.

Finally someone calls a 16 bit version a cover, not a remix since it’s the same song just using a different sound chip.
Unless they alter the song to include classic genesis riffs and bridges I can see it being a remix where as a cover is an identical one to one of the song.

This is just fantastic, seriously, you absolutely fucking nailed it. Everything about this cover is just stunning, that bass line is an absolute joy to listen to, only thing that could top it is if someone jammed to it on a real bass. Either way, this cover just smacks, in a damn good way of course. Great job!

While this version is awesome, keep in mind the sound chip is being used to it's full capability because sound effects aren't in use. It's completely devoted to the music. If you were to add that element (effects) in, it couldn't be this good. I would like to see what the SNES chip could've done if the whole chip was devoted to music with nothing else being used on the chip. What I really would've liked to have seen would be if the SNES & Genny had just a few more channels in their sound chips for games like Mortal Kombat 2 & 3
