- Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday attacked Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over his "stupid self-confidence." Her remarks came just hours after the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha claimed that India's refusal to manufacture led to China "sitting inside the country".
Speaking during the Motion of Thanks on the President’s speech, Rahul Gandhi on Monday claimed that China has established itself as the dominant global manufacturing leader, leaving India nearly a decade behind in key industrial sectors.

During the interview,finance minister defended her bold and beautiful budget of 2025-2026. This budget includes all sections of our society,be it big corporate houses, heavy industries, agricultural families, salaried and educated middle classes, unorganised work force in rural & urban areas. Not only above sectors and other mega infrastructural projects like Airports of international standards, development of modern railway, national highways and gigantic railway bridges and longest tunnel roads. In every state premier educational institutes like IIMs, AIIMS, other learning centres, expansion of new tourist destinatons, connecting them to tourism industry. Ma'am Sitharaman is so articulate in Hindi in explaining the perspectives involved in the Budget. This is openness to adopt the language with warmth. And, lo n behold, she has been at it for the past decade.A good quality indeed!

The Finance Minister seldom shares her achievements from the past year or plans for the upcoming year, leaving people disheartened. Instead, she talks about events from years ago and visions for India in 2047.

I am studied a lot about finance budget right now I can say is it not easy to cover a country like India with a very much tight budget in which you have to cover a lot of things from defence defence to food subsidies I think she did a good job with ensuring the continuous and sustained growth and this year there may be slow down but see have done a lot to provide stimulus to make the growth

Absolutely, there is no comparison between the UPA and NDA , be it Fiscal prudence , Inflation management, Capital building, Benefits transfer, Swach Bharat mission, bank accounts to poor and direct benefits transfer and external relations management etc.. NDA is far superior but that being said a lot could have been accomplished if NDA managed to have Farm bill , land acquisition bill and ease of business improvement

These two ladies behaviour is not at all in respectable standards which inn from setting to asking.
Drama , itna samman if you are willing to give, bring more people under taxes through proper channels and reduce income tax to bare minimum. You are differentiating between the people who are salaried ( paying both income tax and gst) and non - salaried or non salary taking highly asset rich people(paying only gst). Now under the ashirvaad of Zomato, Swiggy instamart you now suck 18% GST on every single item like even vegetables. So you are implying Indians don't deserve quality living, gareeb and uncomfortable hi rehna hai if you want to give lower taxes, theres no rpom for convenience. And even those giving more taxes, what additional are they getting than those not paying taxes? Make some of the public facilities discounted or free for them then through PAN linkage. Rest all spoken is meaningless.
