Hey man, not sure if you noticed it already or something... But this watch is actually closer to the ae1200 in features. The only difference is probably the lack of a faux analogue clock display. edit: I should have watched the whole vid before commenting XD lol There's also a sanda copy of this watch and last I checked, it actually has a metal alloy case as opposed to the resin case on the original (casio a500w). The model name is Sanda 500. There's also a Skmei copy with Skmei 1338 (body/case is resin on this one though).

To me it looks blingy, but I generally do not like gold coloured pieces or even accents so that's just me. 1:48 It's most likely plated and not painted. They probably didn't plate the sides of the buckle to preserve the tolerances, but it does look cheap. So the colouring is as strong as the top layer of metal, deep scratches which get through this will show the silver underneath. 3:26 These thin folded link bracelets will bend to your wrist when wearing them more. 3:54 The general rule for bracelet or strap tightness is being able to jam two fingertips under it while it's on. More of the fingers and it will move about, less and it will irritate your skin over time. 7:42 The databank watches also have this demo feature. And all Casios have the LCD test, which is useful for seeing what characters the display has. Instead of adding a screen-protector, you can polish away scratches in acrylic or plastic afterwards with PolyWatch or toothpaste. I haven't experimented with removing scratches in this way yet, but it seems fairly successful in most other videos. Personally I generally do not use screen-protectors on most devices as this often decreases screen contrast.

@@goatreviews, an important note on the crystal polishing, you have to use just your fingers, optionally with a microfibre cloth. For an even result, rub in broad-ish circles without applying much pressure. If you do want to use polishing wheels, they must be larger than dremel size, ~5cm minimum diameter to avoid creating gauges.

Sorry buddy I don't like the gold one! Bought my wife the Skmei version of this as it was only $12 but it and the metal strap are a cool gun metal colour! All though the map on the Skmei is non functional it just randomly changes on its own! When I was younger had the original black one, worth shed loads now!

@goatreviews yeah realised the map on the Skmei is mimicking the map demo mode but permanently. My aftermarket metal 5600 bezal set came today its not black as ordered it's gunmetal/titanium grey so unsure whether to keep or return it!

this watch is fine for like 40-50 $ however in central eu u mostly paying 100$ for this one, i was vry dissapointed holding it first time in my hand,yes the design is stunning and awesome but the quality is not there for 100$, the material the glas everything is not build for longterm, i already can get a m5610 for 100$ most of the time, makes this one just rly overpriced

This fake gold is terrible, I don't like it at all. It looks like a Casio “SKMEI” edition. As a kid I had the Casio W-50U World Time, the module and the display layout were better than this A500W in my opinion.
