PU engineer here. All sewer/washoff lines are gravity. A pump station is not a lift station. A lift station is a “force main” that sends the raw sewage to the treatment facility. The square grated “manholes” are run offs. The round metal manholes are for sewer, power, water, but are marked. He was found in a lift or pump station well? He said dismembered? Then the parts could be thrown down the manhole into the “well” and when the water/sewer was high enough it flows into the pump station. The pump S sends the raw sewage to the lift S that then pressure sends, in a large force main. A force main can be as big as 4 to 6 feet in diameter. The pipes to these stations are all around 24” to 36” in diameter. He didn’t fall into a ditch & into the run off system. He’s in the sewer system, meaning he was inserted somewhere into a manhole or into that pump house & well. Hope that helps.

Not necessarily. Perhaps he just wanted to share a 'visually interesting image' of the fog by the bridge which caught his eyes.
Waste water that would go to a lift station would then go to a water treatment plant. Rain water goes through a separate system. I’m in Georgia and waste water is handled by a water dept and storm water is handled by the Dept of Transportation.

I imagine a gator got him shortly after he took his final photo of the bridge and drainage canal he was standing next to. He was pulled into the stormwater system that leads to the lift station.
That was my theory until I learned that storm water is a different system from wastewater from callers on Gray’s live. Gray restated that so I was able to be sure I understood that a gator grab into a ditch of moving water wouldn’t wind up in that particular “station” because the station got sewer flow, not storm or runoff flow. I had been confused about some of the details.

Since our leadership decided he want illegals here, there should be a federal bill that denies a bond if a crime is committed. I don't care if it is a bar fight, or a simple theft. Every crime they commit shouldn't allow a bond. If they post bond, they won't be found. So finding more evidence to go for the DP will not even matter. They will cut the monitor and be gone. This is disgusting

Re--Caleb. The police said that the body found was "almost" fully intact, meaning it wasn't in pieces. They also said it was virtually impossible for someone to be placed directly into the well where the body was discovered.
Also, where is the manhole located as it relates to the picture Caleb took of the drainage ditch?

In regards to Caleb Harris... It was foggy that night. He took a Snapchat pic on the road by the bridge. What if he was hit by a car while on his phone and was placed in the manhole as a cover up? That's my theory.

Manholes are 3 feet in diameter. He was probably dropped into the sewer manhole & if he was not dismembered, then he decomposed until limbs fell apart? Idk but sewer is a system that is sealed. Storm run off is different.
If they found the body in the well of a lift station, they’d have to drain the well if the body or parts are in well & drain it dry. And if he’s inside a lift station well, for sewer, he was not in a drainage ditch & flowed into any station.

This guy works for 40 years for the waste water (sewer system )….. he KNOWS it’s SEWER. You questioning these guys is annoying. EVERYONE who knows anything about waste or/and overflow say Caleb was in “Waste water”. Why don’t you just go with it?
Why would he leave with no shoes? and if he is meeting a 'lover' why not meet at his place or actually drive to his place? sounds like he ran into a situation. i wonder if he saw a comprising situation and a city worker (water system) took his phone. was he caught filming something he wasn't supposed to; he was sending those pics to his sister; I wonder if that was an actual sign for help. his phone died right after. he must've seen something and got him in trouble? he was studying environmental science too; how tragic to end up in a sewer. RIP

Corpus was flooded last week so this may possibly explain why the body just now surfaced. Maybe the flooding was responsible for moving his body from wherever it originally was to the pumps...
