man, THIS IS VALUE!!!! before the first tip about resolution, i was soooo opissed with medium because i thought it was so laggy just by laying down a bit of clay!!! the default res is way too high XD!!!!
Yeah it’s always my first reminder for folks. I remember right back at the start I was using a 1070Ti and training people in the studio in 980s. Without dropping the res right down they wouldn’t be able to follow. Also, when you have a layer done at high res, most times if you lower it by one you won’t notice but only after.
Just as an aside to this great video full of fantastic tips. When moving layers in the scene graph, take not that there are two highlighted lined at the layer to which you are moving the selected layer to be. moving onto the smaller hi-light on the left will place your selection ion parallel to the hi-light layer. choosing the larger one on the right will nest your selection within that layer. Hope that makes sense.
Loving the channel so far! My only critique is the VR footage is a bit jittery and difficult to watch. Maybe try using AI frame interpolation to smooth it out and make it easier to watch. Keep making videos!
He Dalopi. I agree with you and we've tried all sorts to improve the issues you get form VR recordings. It's a shame because what we are showing on screen here is nothing when compared to what I see in VR. We will get there one day and I'll check your tip out.

I’ve been learning to use blender for a few months now and have just invested in some VR kit so I’m still in the very early stages of sculpting and modelling with it. For Medium I use OBS on the PC and two additional 1080p web cams as needed. I capture a screen recording of Medium in one layers and a feed of me on a green screen in another layer and chroma key the green out inside OBS. There are loads of newer ways to do with with mixed reality now
Hello! I am struggling with the way to manage stamps in medium and I am asking everywhere like crazy hoping someone know the answer. Doing it inside medium feels extremely inefficient and tedious: You have to manually import every stamp and then move them to a collection one by one. I'm sure there has to be a better way! The optimal way would be doing it via PC folders, but I am confused about how to do it because they don’t usually show up in the program later. Could you please shed some light on this? Thanks a lot!
What is your computer specs? If it has to load every time I make a brush stroke I am not sure if I have that kind of patience. I Have a vive and would have to take a performance hit with revive to run medium, but masterpieceVR or the other sculpting apps on steam just don't have enough features yet.
the dude in the bottom left of the screen is distracting me from learning , i can already hear your voice crystal clear and perfectly dont need the distraction of a man dancing back n forth in the bottom of the screen i can alreadt see what ur vr hands are doing man

Don’t do it I hear quest 2 has the same quality of pc vr plus it’s like 200 dollars cheaper the cable is expensive but still it’s cheaper

I only have a ryzen 1700 and a 1070, but run medium fine.
It stutters when I move large portions with the move tool, but that's it so far
i hate that little cute animation thats pops up every time you do something.
I want to see how to make swords and stuff
