This video is almost a university course with a definitive quality explanation of every term right in the context! That made me immediately look up the description for a wordlist to practice the vocabulary; maybe this is something for the language channel! Thank you for sharing Yhyakh with us. May the good signs help us all and gift us a summer with your great content!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you!:)
@Mehmet Oguz Derin you look just like the Yakut people since you are Turkish.
Maybe I have misunderstood, but is it something like this that you’re interested in?

They are not a big fan but they will have to do something with their products or do they want me to do it on my behalf and then you will need a little more help to make the most sense and to make a plan for you to no longer have to deal without any of your business and your own personal business and not the business of your own
I love how almost every group of humans celebrate the longest day of the year 😊 Also interesting how you hold hands in a circle and dance which is every similar to what swedes do on their 'Midsommar' to celebrate the longest day of the year!
Except we have moved it so it's always on the friday after XD the soltice was 21st june and we celebrated 24th june. So that people like my dad who hasnvt got a break yet can celebrate and get really drunk with out worrying about the job the next day😂
@@rose-marielundholm3597 phaha, so did we in Yakutia 😅 Yhyakh of Tuymaada valley (which is Yhyahk of Yakutsk city) was celebrated in june 25-26.
With one difference - any alcohol is prohibited. Except fermented milk, if you can call it an alcohol drink at all since it have only 1.5-2% of alcohol in it.
I was very privileged in my life to experience a c traditional Swedish midsummer festival....it wasca wonderful experience
Our religion, culture is very similar to Scandinavian. We also have 3 worlds (upper, middle and lower). On the top live Aiyy (light deities) like Asgard. On the middle - people, on the bottom - monsters. A sacred tree passes through these worlds - Aal-luuk-mas (Yggdrassil). I saw the Scandinavian film "Solstice" and was quite impressed. As if they were celebrating our Ysyakh. All in white clothes like ours. And also in the series "Vikings" in one fragment I saw our native Yakut competition "kulun tardyy" (pulling a stallion). Two participants take a kneeling position with an emphasis on the palms of outstretched arms, opposite each other. A line is drawn between rivals. Putting a belt around the neck, which should be taut in the initial position, at the command of the judge, the participants smoothly, without jerks, begin to pull each other. The winner is the participant who pulls the opponent over his control line, or when the opponent's belt breaks
Thank you from Hungary for this video. I am really impressed because in Hungarian(magyar) folk tales, the lower and upper worlds are also appearing connected with the tree of life which we call "életfa". The hero of this tales can travel to different worlds by the tree. I heard that in the ancient faith the connection was granted by the people called "táltos". They served as healers and spiritual guides and were separated from usual people by specific born signs. (Additional fingers, born with theeth etc.) But unfortunately most of the information was lost due to christianity. I would be very happy and thankfull if you could make a more indepth video about the Yakhuth religion, so we could learn more about it, and maybe find out more about ourselves as well.
Other interesting thing is, that the belief still living in the remaining magyar people in Hungary, that we were originated from the Scythians, and the Persians called Scythians in hystorical texts as Sakha, or Saka.
i iove this celebrating video ..from Istanbul Turkiye ❤❤❤
Even though I grew up in Yakutia, I had never been explained certain things about the holiday -- partially, it was not celebrated much during the Soviet time -- I was finally able to understand what is the meaning of each part of the holiday. Thank you!
Yeah, don't believe this is some ancient tradition, looks like Neo-Paganism with a Hollywood director or two contributing.
Reminds me of my own native ammerican culture in many ways. Whitch I guess makes sense considering native ammericans came from a single tribe from siberia
As a Turk, I completely agree with this opinion.
GREETINGS FROM KAZAKHSTAN
People say the native american tribes in America came there from Siberia over the Bering Straight...the sounds of your songs sound and rituals look very very similar to the way tribes do them here
I saw the video on Sakha language. But also in this video it seems I found some similar words. In the north scandinavia there is the word algos (means start, begin). Quite similar to algysh. And yaki (meaning year) spells similar to yhakh.
Happy Yaz! May the Göktengri bless you this season with plentiful greenery and lots of crops to keep your stomach full during the long and dry winters ❤️ Peace and lots of love from Türkiye 🇹🇷

Some day I'd love to visit Siberia. Such beautiful land and culture.
This republic is not in Siberia but so called Far East if we want to be precise
Such a contrast from winter, truly a country of extremes!
What a beautiful people and such a rich and interesting ancient history. Love this.
The food looks good. The dancing girls were so cute and they looked like they had so much fun. The horse racing looks exciting. All the details from history and the songs is interesting.
Thank you Maria.
At eti, kımız ve şişlik etler güzelce mideye gömüldükten sonra aksam düzenlenen at yarışlarını izlemeye geçiliyor.
Thank you for sharing Maria, just wanted to hashtag it for Turkish, for "some" to see 👀

hello from Romania 😘
What a beautiful festival 😘 from England. You can see how the natives of North America crossed the land bridge as your looks & dress & dance are so similar 👍
Good to see you back. We really missed you. It's hard to comprehend we are on the same world, leading such completely different lifes, with complete different rituals. This festival (with I name I can't even begin to pronounce) seems worth a visit (if visitors are welcome). There are so many questions about the religion, the rituals, the ceremonies, and it's good to see so many people attending. I really hope you are doing fine.
One year there was an American guy who tried to wrestle with competitors. He was a husband of Sakha woman. And he came to Yakutsk to meet with her family (we call it kütüöttüü kelbit). That was awesome. Before pandemia there was a lot of foreign tourists in Yhyakhs.
This is so beautiful. I really admire the culture of Yakutia.
Thanks for sharing this meaningful event with all of us! This really give me the insight of how much the Sakha people appreciate the sun and the sheer happiness on people's faces just show how delighted the people are to see Yhyakh back after been calcelled for like 2 years or so! With thanks and love from Taiwan, wish you a great summer!
Bizler şu an Türk falan değiliz. Şunlara baksana nasıl kültürlerini korumuşlar. Biz naptık? Hiçbir şey. Kültür mültür yok oldu gitti kül oldu
Thank you so much for taking the time out of such a special day to film for us, it was an absolute privilege to be "invited" along. I would love to see this truly epic festival in person someday 😍🤩
It is pretty interesting to know how people in other countries celebrate different festivals and seasons and how their daily life is going in their country, I know everything is different on the camera and it feels different too but it feels wholesome to watch these things.

I must say, not only was it interesting, it was one of the best made vlogs I have ever seen.. excellent drone footage.. I absolutely enjoyed it.. thank you and you have a wonderful summer also.
Hát igen, remélem jönnek szahák is a Kurultajra.
@@k1godwin361Excuse me but aren't Hungarians white people? They are white European people, that's why we indegenous Siberians and Central Asians do not associate with them. I don't consider we are close to Turks even though we have similar languages, it's obvious that we don't have anything in common with Hungarians. Also I know that Hungarians are extremely racist people, that's why we better our gates closed to them.
Amazing , that’s a totally different culture and totally new for me ! Thank you for sharing !
I'm so glad to see you posting videos again!!! I've missed all your great content. You have a wonderful spirit
Maria welcome back! You were very missed
Hi! Dear Maria, Thanks a lot for the nice video. Through your videos i know what our people do in Yakutia. Lots of very warm hellos to you and your family from Turkey.

Hello from Canada! Thank you for sharing your life and your peoples traditions with us. I really enjoy your videos and seeing what life is like for you and so beautiful where you live too !
Im American but ancestors are from Sweden where they have the Midsommar festival on the longest day. Some things are similar like dancing in a circle!
This is so similar to Native American pow wows I went to when I was younger
What a beautiful festival 😘 from Bangladesh.
your culture is beautiful. Watching from Nepal

Thank you for this lovely and interesting video. I like seeing other cultures and religions, and how they celebrate the divine in life. I've been wondering how you were in these past...troublesome...months, so it was good to see you.
🤍
I know it shouldn't surprise me, as First Tribes and Native Americans came to North America from Siberia, but it is surprising how similar so many traditions are after literally centuries. So much of this reminded me of a Native American Powwow. This is why culture needs to continue to be shared and handed down, thank you for sharing!
If you look at the Ainu, the indigenous people of Japan, their culture seems to bear some resemblance to Native Americans as well. Also, check out Mongolian shamanism

You should be proud of your filmography as well, you captured the day wonderfully.
Absolutely fascinating! What a beautiful festival. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. I love to see cultures different from mine (UK) especially celebrations and symbolism. Wonderful filming too, I felt like I was there! Happy Summer! 🌞
Wonderful! Please show us many videos with the summer activities in Yakutia. How is the agriculture for example, but also the daily life in summer. Thanks! Good luck! I'm watching you! 😁
There’s lots of us Finns that have been lucky enough to visit your part of the world but sadly I fear there is no chance for me to visit these days due to the craziness in the world. We celebrate here but not in such big events, mostly just friends and family small outdoor events. Wonderful video Maria, thank you for showing us your life there. Peace and good luck to you.
craziness will pass sooner or later
How very special. Thank you for sharing this with us. :)

This is so awesome! Thanks for producing these videos. When I watch your videos, I get so many memories of when I stayed in Yakutsk 8 years ago to attend summer school at the uni there. I also went on a school trip to Lena Pillars and Amga and I recognise the round dancing and singing styles that people performed there.
Oh wow, You were so lucky to visit Amga, the water there are so clean.

Thanks so much for posting such a thoughtful and well put together video for everyone to enjoy. Your festival is full of meaning and joy, values and beliefs, from a bygone era. It's good to see that the culture and unity of a people such as yours still exist here on our planet. Sometimes I wonder. Good to see you again. G-d bless.
Wonderful , it shows that despite the coldest place you people celebrate your feast with great pomp and show , similar Chain dance we too have , done by our Tribal people known as Tribal Dance especially in the state of Jharkhand . Love from India ...
