What Uncle Fred said about Division in the marriage was very powerful. My wife and I are celebrating 25 years of marriage this August and the vision we share is to put God first in our marriage and in our home.

I love how transparent and accountable Mr Hammond was about his role in his marriage. No fiscal or economic literacy and they ways he was initially moving in his marriage. I believe more people don't understand that marriage is the beginning of a new journey/struggle. At the first impasse many walk away rather than making the necessary adjustments. Pride, selfishness and pack of accountability are at the heart if most marriages ending.
Fred is so important to gospel music. He is such a treasure! I can't say thank you enough. Thanks for letting God use you!

I had just started my on personal walk with the lord. My girlfriend had played spirit of David on our way to church. It just changed my walk and made want to worship the lord when I heard those songs. Made me want a deeper relationship with the lord. My Pastor died in 2021 from a horrible accident and our church ( which started in my house ) had grown to a bigger size and we moved venues . However nobody was stepping up to continue the work and i stepped up . But when i stepped up my marriage stepped down. Tried for three years now to save it and she prays to God and calls me the enemy and I’m praying asking God to fix this and fix me where I am responsible but after all I tried she is divorcing me. I still Pastor the church and it’s growing but I’m hurt because it would have been nice if she was with me growing this ministry. I’m conflicted right now because I don’t want another woman and still do everything for her but I see the congregation are worried because I am always in service alone going on three years .

I appreciate Fred Hammond. I'm not personally associated, but I got the opportunity to serve on Motor City Mass choir projects in Detroit. It was a great experience for me, even though many leading singers of the area had much to say. I remember Pam Kenyon and another lady named Keva (?) and RFC team supported us with grace. This is my chance to say Thank you for 3 CD project. The experience still resonates with me, as I was pressing through hard times while participating. It brought me through. Also, the music from Commissioned days, Radicals for Christ and all solo projects have encouraged us in the faith. Blessings!

@@tangiesmith6807 when my high school/college sweetheart and I broke up after our son was born. He regularly begged me to get back together with him. As much as I loved him and thought we would always be together, that love died when he refused to help with our son for 2 years before he was forced by the system. For years he kept begging for reconciliation. I told him how could he expect me to consider it when he wasn't doing everything he could to help support our son. He left me holding all the responsibilities because we were no longer together yet wanted reconciliation. Honestly if he just made it clear that our son was his priority and helped the love may have returned as I felt supported. That's how coparents can survive and make it work. But alas people are so intent on making each other suffer they don't realize their hurting the child. I moved on eventually he matured and helped more in the later years. But through it all I never impeded his relationship with his son

True love does not stop after the relationship ends if it was true in the first place. It is like Commissioned sang so many years ago, “Love isn’t love until you give it away.” we now know that Fred practices what he preaches.
It was God, my family, and Free To Worship, that helped me get through an extremely painful divorce. He's not about entertainment, but ministering to our spiritual needs, by magnifying the goodness, majesty, and faithfulness of the God of all creation. My divorce was my life's most difficult experience, and our faithful God provided me with everything I needed to make it through.
The Favor of God on his life. Fred seems to be a Caring and full of empathy for others.Great success story.
