I really like the way you look at the gbl. You have the most positive mind set I've seen and its great. It's not like you play to be the first or nth player reaching rank 10 it feels like you play it because you're having fun.
This team is so strong, got a lucky garchomp yesterday and ran this for 5 sets in rank 8, went 3-2, 5-0, 4-1, 1-4, 4-1 the toss up between FB and EQ on garchomp is a tough choice tho. FB is great for the togekiss like you say. But EQ charges faster when facing Metagross. But it's always a trade off. I got friends running Metagross as the lead and it's also strong I guess, never need to switch fast I guess, may try that out today
I have literally lost sleep trying to think of ways to beat back-end Togekiss without falling prey to Magnezone/Mamoswine/Metagross counters. Fire Blast Garchomp is an interesting idea, though, to provide some insurance. Sort of like Gyarados with Hydro Pump, if you can hit Togekiss with enough neutral damage, it can go a long way.
I run the other day's team with togekiss, garchomp and machamp. 15 battles I only got favourable leads twice. The rest was all Metagross and Magnezones mostly. I like the team but it's frustrating having to switch constantly.

I play out the Magnezone lead differently, I stay with toge they usually double mirror shot and I throw an ancient power at the end, gets the shield 90% time. But I am rank 8 so there's that. Edit: Commented at about hafway through the video, I saw you tried staying as well and it kinda worked out :)
Just made it to level 10 - won 65 out of 100. Used meltmetal (98% maxed out) Rayquaza (100% maxed out) and Kyogre (98% maxed out) none have additional attacks. It can be done with other teams.
That team is so RPS, How many practice games do you play before committing to a ranked game? I think that's what I see a lot, the top players build a team and practice vs other players specifically looking to develop strategies.

Lost lead doesn't mean game is over, let them throw energy and just sack, most case the opponents will shield to take switch advantage so it's better to have a shield advantage in that case, it worked for me and almost rank 10 bro. 😁
Super League: Azumarril, Altaria, Registeel/Bastiodon. Master: Togekiss, Garchomp, Metagross. Premiere cup in Ultra is the best, you'll never know whats coming to you
I use metagross with flashcannon instead 1 hits togetics,mewtwos and such i think its has better over damage/ coverage over meteor mashand its not that much more energy, only two extra bullet punches or something
hmmm....I did not see a single match where Fire Blast actually made the difference, in fact, I think Earthquake is better as it costs lower energy and does more damage than Fire Blast....Garchomp would lose to Togekiss anyway, even with Fire Blast
Ever consider a Milotic lead? It has winning matchups vs some relevant mons like metagross, togekiss, swampert, machamp, and actually wins the 0 shield vs gyarados

Basically, Gyarados with CD's move changed everything. I was r10 last season and now it is too hard to learn ML again
