Love that cut from Crow calling his hiding spot bad and abandoning it to Lycel hiding in an identical spot. God-tier editing.
Weirdly, despite him never seeing a hide-and-seek video while Lycel has done a bunch, he was the only one who seemed to realise that bushes don't render at long distance.

I don't watch them often, besides one thing crow said a while ago which I thought was not a big deal, I thought they were on good terms with one another, just not a lot to play together at the point. although I don't really care much :/. if something was going on, good for them.
@@Elizzabeth2 There was a time when Pcrow was struggling and Smants mistakes and even relative situation(as a channel) caused the friendship fall apart. Smant apologized and when Pcrow was ready he apologized and they forgave. They talked it out like adults and are on good terms now. There, you are caught up.

@@lazyryan3766Well CJ and Fir was on one team together. Smallant is the only SMO speedrunner on his team
@@BIackingOut it seems like smant is the most notorious for his hiding spots, combined with him being good at making jumps the others can't make, except for fir, who is known for his evasion. CJ is a speed runner, probably better than smant at it, but I don't hear them talk about his traits in hide and seek as much
I've missed seeing Lycel in these - great to see her back!
To me one of the most wholesome things in these streams is Smallant giving tips and tricks to the other players. I know it’s in his interest to win here, but it gives big brother helping little brother beat the boss vibes

That first game of Poo's team was the visual representation of that very quote, so much stupid in those dumb hiding places that it circled all the way around to be genius.
For real, their spots were just so obvious that the others assumed they had better spots. CJ just sitting behind the bench right in front of the warp flag was nuts. It's like your eyes skip right over spots like that because you're focused on the distance, not right by your feet.

@@YamadaDesignstheres was a vid explaining it and ill js try to summarise but basically they were fine but their fanbases kept beefing and saying "he's better than you" and that being repeated constantly affected the two of them, because who wouldnt be affected by a whole fanbase constanrly saying spmeone is better than you. they're good now tho. mb if i didnt rlly explain it well the video will do it justice a lot more

I also remember seeing a vod where Smant beat Pcrow or scored a point etc. and Smant said something like "get better" in a friendly and competitive way, and when a chatter said Pcrow sucked he immediately went like "Hey mods, time that guy out. Don't talk s*** about my friends." or something to that effect. I was really confused when he had to release a video telling everyone to chill out

I love Failboat at the end saying and husbands. Had to be inclusive with the piracy. Also turnaround on this one was insane not even a week out from the streams with 10 perspectives has gotta go CRAZY.

Smant's IQ is way too good in this game. He carried his team by coordinating with teammates on what spots are good and when his teammates found a hider, he would be there to get the kill but unfortunately it wasn't enough to beat the other side with how op they were with EU PING advantage and other great players like Cj, fir, and the underdog poobear. Great game overall! Wish to see more.

Watched a little bit of this session on stream. definitely cooler to see all the different perspectives come together and fill in a lot of the gaps in where people were from when i watched.
The way Lycel fell into the pipe at 43:28 was pretty funny haha
The shook i ethed when i got the notif of a h&s live stream was great, but seeing the lineup of so many of my favs was ever greater. Really fun streams and a really fun video!!

I know that this was hard as hell to probably orchestrate, but this was my favorite hide and seek I've ever seen, such amazing plays and fun all around. I think what increased everything was how much fun you all seemed to have, idk maybe I'm just in a good mood, but this was amazing. Hope to see more of this someday!
if we are talking about player head to heads, I think Crafty has an insane record against Fir. He tends to catch Fir a lot, some of Crafty's best chases as a hider was against Fir, most notably Crafty running in Lost a long time ago.
This is the first SMO H&S stream that I saw (part of) live. Cool stuff.

I do believe switching from tcp to udp might help, tcp is usually used for security, while udp is better for streaming video and stuff like that
Managed to catch the stream live and it was so fun! And the editing on this is really good with the little time jumps when too many things happened at the same time, really well done!
Hope we get some more hide and seek in the future, that would be awesome!
