Awesome video! Just bought some land in the Blue Ridge mountains. When walking the property I saw a lot of mushrooms. So glad I found your channel. I'm looking forward to learning how to identify and harvest mushrooms and other edible plants in the forest.
I've been seeing that jelly roll all over the place thinking "maybe I'll just try a bite" and now I will. Don't know if you've got Sweetgum trees in your area but it all works similar to Sassafrass when used as chewing gum, but it's much more tart.
The jelly roll is has an interesting texture, but not much taste! I'll have to use sweetgum more! I always find it in downtown Asheville, but never in the forest.
