Exactly WHERE in the Holy Bible do we find the promise of salvation? The Apostle Paul through the words of the risen Savior says in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 (kjv): "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you THE GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also YE ARE SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain; For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, HOW that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the scriptures; And that he was BURIED, and that he ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the scriptures:" We simply believe three things: 1. How Jesus DIED for or sins (Romans 3:23; 5:8, 5:12, 6:23) 2. Jesus was BURIED (Acts 2:29-31) 3. and Jesus ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the scriptures (1 Corinthians15:44; Acts 1:3) If you believe this, you are saved and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise until the day of redemption (the rapture)! Eph 1:13 - In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, *ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,* Eph 1:14 - Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. But theres even more!.. By the cross of Christ God is able to take wicked, sinful, enemies and offer them free justification through faith (Rom 3:24, 5:1). We are saved by his faith, not of our own works: Rom 3:24 - "Being justified freely by *his grace* through the *redemption that is in Christ Jesus:"* Rom 5:1 - "Therefore being *justified by faith,* we have peace with God *through our Lord Jesus Christ:"* Eph 2:8 - For by grace are ye saved *through faith,* and that *not of yourselves:* it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9 - *Not of works*, lest any man should boast. Eph 2:10 - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus *unto good works,* which God hath before ordained that we should *walk in them* The Bible (KJV) says we are ALL born into sin, which separates us from Jesus (God), and eternal life in heaven with Him: "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned" -Roman's 5:12 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" -Rom 6:23 .
