That locomotive was known as the big blow because it blows me away! Awesome locomotive Brian!
Awesome Joey! I think I seriously blew my ears out doing this vid! That turbine screams!
Love watching your videos!!!!
Thank you so kindly!! 😎
Nice video, Brian! You have some really cool locomotives!
Thank you John! Many years of collecting! These things are like potato chips, you can’t stop with just one!! 😅😂
@@naxshack That's for sure.
That’s my favorite 4 motors, dual smoke units turbine locomotive! I can’t wait to get mine converted to ps3. Talk about a powerhouse Brian! Awesome run!
Thank you Frank!!! So awesome to hear from you! I hope all is well! Also, I didn’t forget about the Veranda double header! It is still on the white-board of vids to do!! 🚂🚂🚂😎
I love watching your U.P. and Western Pacific's. Both are West Coast lines I find appealing. 💯
Thank you John!! Me too! I’m East coast, but somehow have a lot of West coast representation! 😎
Awesome train. Thanks for sharing. Dave
Thank you Dave! ❤️🚂😎
Another train set for me to love!
man that loco is intense! amazing sound and smoke. layout looks sharp! awesome running session Brian :)
Thank you John!!! Yeah man, this thing is a beast! When in service, these things would cook overpasses from underneath, from the jet engine exhaust! Good to hear from you! Have a great weekend! 🇺🇸😎
Beautiful turbine locomotive, I love the look of these and MTH did a great job with the detailing and the sounds (they are very realistic). I never really remember seeing these turbine locomotives but they were used a lot here in Utah. I worked at the Utah Copper Division of KCC in the late 60's and I did drive 150 ton haulage trucks that were equipped with turbines and they were loud, we always had to wear hearing protectors when operating these trucks and this locomotive sounds just like they did. Great video Brian.
Thank you so much Roger! And that is an awesome story! Very cool! UP had some very unique experimental locos. I couldn’t agree more, that MTH did a very nice job with this model. The sound in person, is just incredible! I haven’t seen Lionel’s version in person yet, but sure they did a nice job as well. Thank you again, and have a great rest of your week!! 😎
Thanks Brian, you too.
That start up is amazing 👍 love the sound of that locomotive
This thing is a beast!!! MTH really did a nice job with the sounds! 😎😎
That’s an awesome train! Seesh! Nice layout too
Thank you! And thanks for checking bout the vid! 🚂😎
Cool diesel Brian.
Thank you Hunter!!
Cool 😎
Thank you!! 😎😎
Great Video Brian.😊If the economy were better I would Love to get some Union Pacific and BNSF motive power on my layout. 😞
Thank you Mark! And I hear you! The prices on these models just keeps going up 😔 Most of my diesels are MTH for that reason. These can be had for a a decent price, and then upgraded to run with the digital command system just as a brand new models. I’m not saving a huge amount, but the savings does add up a bit. Have a great rest of your week! 😎
Nice love that engine
Thanks Guy! It is definitely a beast!
That's an interesting loco, cool startup sounds. While nice, I'll never have room to run something like this.
Do you consider your layout to be "near finished"?
Thank you Kevin! This model says it will run on O72, but I’ve had problems with it on O72, maybe where I’ve slightly fudged the radius in order to get trackage to line up. I have to run this on my larger lines. As far as the layout, nope it is def not finished or close to it ☹️. Well the trackage is probably almost complete, but the scenery isn’t even close. I need to get motivated to get the mountains done and work on the upper level. I have plans for some small sidings near the train station and a plan for a 3 to 4 stall yard for the Big Boys that are always parked in the back on the outer line. This would be a small section added to the layout.
