I heard it was due to the band program at scsu being subpar but I really don't know
karmstr12 I see that SCSU band shrunk. They are small when they played Southern today.
I've always loved seeing the Drum Corps mixed with grove type of style that comes form lines like BCU, NSU, VSU, Cold Steel!

I enjoying watching drumline vids from all around the world. Why does everyone always look angry? Sure, it takes hard work and a great deal of talent, but c'mon folks. I'd be grinnin' my butt off if I made one these lines, especially on camera.

It's called a "Game Face" which is part of military bearing - what the activity evolved from.
