I made my Polestar save into my second main character! Not just for singularity engine, but also wanted to make a brand new freighter base without destroying my old one. Also now using it to accumulate living frigates, because my original save is reserved for vanilla frigates, that I'm manually trained up to reach skill cap.
Favorite weapon will always be the Blaze lance, the first time I got it I had a carbine Multi-tool and it made me feel like a stormtrooper! Funnest weapon in my opinion just behind the GeoCannon
Today I found an exploit with the cloaking device, if you keep spamming the button in a specific rhythm, its charge won't deplete and the sentinels will stay in searching status and eventually stop chasing you
You forgot the Incinerator!! Only flamethrower in the game and while not obtainable without save editing, those who got it pre-removal still have it!! They’ve even updated it meaning it might come back!
I might agree, except it's more or less just another weapon. It deals damage. And while every weapon is different, they all deal damage. The Animus Beam harvests a unique resource from living creatures in addition to dealing damage which is why I included it here. Although I definitely considered the incinerator for this list. Thanks for watching!
Theres a particularly important thing about the Singularity engine that makes it extremely useful for some purposes that you forgot to mention. Due to the nature of black hole travel in NMS, it has a tendency to send you hundreds of thousands if not around a million light years towards the galactic core per use. ON YOUR COMMAND. So that means you don’t have to seek out a black hole to make one huge leap; you just make it, multiple in a row even, provided the tech is fueled. So you can basically reach it in record time without much hassle at all. If you just want to get there and don’t really care about finding any particular place or making many stops, this is the tech that’ll be your best friend.
There are addresses of systems that are close to the core. You just need to use a portal. Also the easiest way to eisentham is throught the anomaly, you just jump to a featured eisetham base and you are there.
I used the NMS Save editor to add the polestar drive to my main save file, as well as upgrade a shuttle I love to have the 3rd expedition's unique starship parts that make the hyperdrive range go very high without upgrades.
The bobble heads are in the Quicksilver Shop. The Solar Ray however is only available in the Starbirth quest. So either get a philanthropist at the anomaly to get you a fresh void egg, or buy one (it’s gonna take a while as it’s over 3,000 quicksilver) All it really does is get liquid sun, too. Which is currently used exclusively in the Leviathan Expedition and Starbirth. So you get no actual widely useful resources you harvest with it like phosphorus or Copper. Liquid Sun is not expensive either, so there’s much better ways to make money. It actually decreases the value of most harvested materials, and they can’t be converted back to their original form. But if you just want a storage unit full of Liquid Sun or something, more power to you, I guess.
Really annoying how much isn't avaliable on saves from the beginning of the game from being expedition tech. My main liking of this game is having a long term game save. Starting over is annoying.
What am I missing about the concept of the singularity engine - take whatever ship you usually or want to fly to wherever you want, and simply summon the freighter when you get there
Because due to the nature of Black Hole travel, it will send you a colossal distance closer to the galactic center in one jump, from several hundred thousand light years to around a million each jump in my personal tests. Multiple jumps using this can be done consecutively, too with no real drawbacks of normal black hole travel (no broken tech, and no having to find one to make the jump). So provided it is fueled and you have some spare fuel on hand, you can make it to the galactic core in record time. I’m talking like a few minutes or something. Which would normally take significantly longer.
Using the Rocket underwater is cool! Oh and did ya know that, when you glitch out of the Anomaly you can fire the Trading Rocket with some glitch skills. Much fun to be had
I got the Bouncy Green Goo Machine Gun ! Love it. That and the Scatter Shot with the Grease Gun attachment as a solid back up! And damn…. I was like #70
My #1 is the Visceral Synthesiser that was available in expedition #4 only. It extricates any Vile Spawn from the embryotic sacs of Hungering Tendrils. #2 would probably be the incinerator weapon which was only available for a short time on certain weapons. Nice video though, I enjoyed it.
Probably what I think is the most unique device in no man’s sky is probably the terrain manipulator. Makes base building so easy and there’s nothing like it in any other game that allows base building
@@Silas-Inservio-Pax then it’s copied :/ no man’s sky has been around longer. Like way longer. Since 2016 actually. Valheim was only release in 2021. So I’d still say it’s unique to no man’s sky
@@grimreaper63151 Well its worth a try. A tool nearly identical in function to the terrain manipulator is the main tool in that game. And the limits are pretty far so you can get really creative with it.
are there any unobtainable items in game that you have in expeditions? i keep all the expedition save files just in case to someday log in and transfer the entire inventory to my ps4 account then back to my pc account on my main save. Is every item in expedition obtainable in normal mode? i remember in some expedition you got like a space station deactivation device/item i would like to transfer that to my main save someday, only that im lazy and it would be faster to obtain it in my main save directly.
I’ve figured out if you start to charge the blaze javelin and than use your shield you can actually block while charging the javelin, than drop your shield when you’re ready to fire
I imagine with the introduction of packaging technology in the waypoint update, with the help of another player, it's probably possible to transfer the singularity engine into a normal save
Xxiou games made a video on the trade rocket. He showed that you get a bit more money from the materials you sell via the trade rocket than you do at trade terminals, space stations, etc.
I got a multi tool with a "Hi-jacked mining laser" and I swear, it runs red and just cuts through stuff. Can't take it off though, would love to put it on my staff
Looking forward to seeing a live stream from you. Do some "test" streams first, to work out any issues. (Ask Whisky Barrel Gaming how his first stream went. It was still fun though.) Just remember this community is exceptionally patient, understanding and supportive. Guess we've kind of had to be... considering original NMS. See you there.
I have a cloaking device that installs into the multitool. Its cool, but occasionally stops working and needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled to work again. Makes me wonder how many other pieces of tech do this unnoticed.
so its been a while since i beat the no man sky story but idk if this was a glitch or a bug but when i reach the end of the galaxy without remembrance i loss my items or my tech was damage from my ship and multi tool but after crafting and equipping it i never had that issue cause it was granted to me after i reach the end of the galaxy hence the name remembrance a tech piece to remember your past itiration when you reset the universe i wasnt mad at the fact i lost my items but i always thought thats what remembrance did correct me if im wrong
You should have added the photonix core. It's a blueprint that is still helpful and I'm pretty sure only day 1 players still have and no on PC or Xbox.
It's listed on my rarest items video, I believe, but it's not super unique in function. It's really just an exclusive upgrade module. And I think it was available to PC preorders as well, but don't quote me on that. Xbox and Switch won't have it though.
I got so pissed off. I FINALLY GOT THE HEART OF THE SUN and immediately put it into my remembrance. Then went to that final part of the quest step (I did atlas seeds after the artemis line) aaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd fuck me man I cant use the final terminal.

Do you know If you could install the singularity engine on different freighters on the polestar save?
@@Coinz8 Yes I did! Upgraded to S class system freighter, and still searching out for better one to upgrade again since!

The first item you showed is not the portable refiner, it's the personal refiner. The portable refiner is a different piece of equipment.
You forgot the Incinerator!! Only flamethrower in the game and while not obtainable without save editing, those who got it pre-removal still have it!! They’ve even updated it meaning it might come back!
I had 2 until I tried giving one to someone and now I only have the 1 😢
Freighter warp should be a normal thing, I do love seeing my whole fleet travel instead of the lonely ship we have
I love bobbleheads. As cool as they are, I wish they had more!! worth my quicksilver farming of course.
What about the starship upgrade that was released during the outlaws update? The one that lets you drift in space
@Jose ima have to look later
I think a portable food processor would be an awesome addition.
That's an interesting idea. Or maybe one that can be installed in your ship. Like an RV with grill attachment. lol Thanks for watching!
Hahaha, this video was great XD I especially loved the dancing during the Remembrance creation steps.
The incinerator deserved a spot here imo but fun list regardless!

New upload!!! Super excited for the video
Why did you not include the sentinel versions of the standard pre installed tech
the remembrance crafting section has just destroyed my brain
Portable refiner is very handy, yes^^
What is the portal code for that purple and blue bubble planet?

Unrelated but I just ate an old quesadilla and I feel like I’m going to die.

Playing nms while I was watching this video and installed the ai pilot from the Minotaur and it’s so cool if a bit funny when it gets stuck
The incinerator is much more rare, without the save editor its impossible to get
