St. Anthony is considered the Patron Saint for lost items, articles, people, or even spiritual goods. Many people go to the Sulangan church to ask Saint Anthony of Padua even the most impossible wishes and the saint is believed to grant them.
Make your wish come true when you visit St. Anthony de Padua Church or Sulangan Church in Guiuan, Eastern Samar. Locals believe that those who visit the church and pray for impossible wishes shall be granted their prayer.

Public and private land transportation (from Luzon or Mindanao) ply the route to all major cities and towns via the Maharlika Highway/Asian Highway using the RO-RO ports in Allen San Isidro in Northern Samar and the Liloan & San Ricardo ports in Southern Leyte.
Vans and buses are also available from the major towns and cities to the different parts of the region. Riding haba-habal, pedicab, traysikol and boat are also must experience when travelling to a nearby destination.
