I have the Camper but only carry it occasionally for more extended activities. The Walker is my EDC and I love it. Disappointing that it was discontinued.
Of the three, I always choose the Huntsman. I use the hook, and the scissors go right through paracord. I do generally use the Forester M Grip as my daily and outdoors beater though. The Ranger is actually my favorite, but I keep it in my oh shit beltpouch. The addition of the chisel and the prybar/driver is sweet as is the metal file.
The Ranger is definitely a wonderful model if you don't mind the extra weight, I thought about getting one but ended up getting the Handyman instead (for the pliers), got it in Blue cellidor scales, happy with my choice 😊
I carry a climber every day and sometimes wish it had a saw blade. I have a Mora in my dedicated outdoor kit along with the one hand trekker. Nice review and comparisons. Shalom!
Hi Paul 🌷 Well if you want a saw blade on your Climber - get a Huntsman! 😍 That's exactly what these videos are for, seeing more models "in action" and figuring out what is best for you ❤️
Shavua Tov Raz. I am a big Huntsman for EDC fan. I have no walker but I have several decorative scaled Campers as collectables as well as a Wenger 85mm Alpine Backpacker & 85 mm Swiss Buck Trekker - both are Wenger versions of the Camper.
Sounds beautiful, Steve 🌷 I find the four layers knives to be just a little too big for my pockets, but if I were to carry one everyday it would probably be the Explorer ❤️
@@Practical_EDC The Explorer is a great carry, I have 2, one with Rubi red plus scales & one with Navy Camo scales. I too like the 2 & 3 layer SAK's, the Compact (I have 4) is one of my Go To alternates to the Huntsman as is the 3 layer EvoGrip 14 & EvoGrip S14 (both with red/black scales) and the 4 layer but smaller & lighter than the Huntsman - the EvogGrip S17 & S18 (I have 2 of each in red/black & yellow/black scales) I bought most of mine from KWS last year whenever there was a sale & bought the S14 plus the yellow/black scales on a Spanish website before they like KWS ran out of them as soon as it was announced that the Delmonts will be discontinued.
I switched to the FIELDMASTER because you get a Phillips driver and because I have no use for the cork screw except to hold the micro screwdriver. The RANGER gives you a file as well.
@@MrDDiRusso My personal experience is that a back layer Phillips screwdriver is of limited use unlike an in-line Phillips on the Explorer & Spartan Lite and Huntsman Lite
While I do like the Camper, I'm partial to the Hiker as I think the phillips driver is more handy, and makes for a more comfortable grip. This fall I spent almost 30 days in the bush (northern Canada) carying the Hiker, and a hunting knife that was reserved for processing game. Once the hunting season ended I swapped the bigger knife for a hatchet and have been well served on snowshoeing trips, hard for me to imagine a better balanced multi-tool.
The Nylon Scales feel amazing. I have to get myself a larger SAK at some point, but they are so expensive for a rare use case. Until then basic EDC + a larger "just a knife" knife is great, but large SAKs feel so refined
I completely agree 🌷 I'm actually on the hunt for a few more nylon scales SAKs, already got the Huntsman (you saw in the video) and the Waiter, now looking for an Explorer with nylon scales ❤️
Shalom, Raz....Good video! The scales are "Ecoline" they were offered at one time to make the tools more economical in price...I believe they are discontinued, so you might want to get a regular set ( & one for the Walker...😊) & store the nylon ones....I would use the Huntsman in a rural setting & the Explorer for urban...although you might take the Camper on your next trip out as it is new & put it through its paces & tell us what you think...I have 2 Tinkers..the one with the nylon scales is called the Tinker II...
Thanks for the info, Edgar! Always happy to learn from you guys ❤️ Honestly I think I'll put the "Ecoline" Huntsman back in the box and keep it in new condition, I might get a new one for actual use, but I wanna preserve the one that's in my video as is. I'm definitely taking the Camper with me on my next trip to the woods, can't really see myself going back to the Walker now that I have the Camper in my hands 😉
The Walker was discontinued on January this year 2023. I had a chance to get one as soon as I knew they were going discontinue it.
Glad you managed to get one, buddy! Awesome little knives 🤘
I love my Walker and carry it everyday. Disappointing that it was discontinued.

I'd NEVER buy a SAK without the cap & can tools. They're such fundamental tools. Saving one layer of space to skip them is a false economy.
I carry the huntsman lite every day

Buy a t-shank jigsaw blade and put it under the parcel hook.

@@stevesinclair4159 true, you don't have the reach with the t handle Phillip's, but it still works, and it doesn't snag on things like the corkscrew.

Thank you for sharing your awesome experience buddy, sounds like you really did found your perfect Swiss Army Knife, that's fantastic! ❤️

I just got the camper as I never had a use for the scissors.

I personally think that when you're outdoors, the more you have, the better off you are.
Felix immler just posted a video on mounting a pocket clip successfully onto a victorinox 91mm
Just got a notification about his video 😃
I really love his stuff, always making me think outside the box!
I'll watch it tonight and try myself ❤️
It's the inner end of the combo tool that can be used as a phillips driver NOT the outer end because if you do that the tool will close shut!
Huntsman or Camper for me. Both UK legal carry.
Get a Gerber strongarm with partial serated blade ! US Army issued !
Work Champ or the Hutsman !
I carry my Workchamp in my EDC pouch in my slingbag, extremely useful tool no doubt 😊
I cannot understand why Victorinox stopped putting those "Camping" logos on the camper.
You need the scissors, for nails, blisters, bandages. The Huntsman.
I agree 🙂
Scissors can be used as a fork, silly Camper ;)
That's true! Vaild point for the Huntsman ❤️
