System's instrumental was originally a remix of Common Dreads from the last album used to open concerts in 2010/11 but had a great build so worked on it for this album.
1+2 just means track 1 and 2 of the album. So yes "System" is track 1 and "Meltdown" is track 2. You reacted to track 3 "Sssnakepit" so you are for sure going in order. I wonder if Hendrik sent you the songs intentionally that way.
