"Ends" is also FIRE, and so is "I Get By"...Everlast is highly underrated.
I get by is one of my favorites because a lot of us feel that just like we feel this
"Ends" is amazing!
Facts..If you love this song, Check out "Deuce Tre - Seen It All" ruclips.net/video/ZKpNgEQ4MK8/видео.html

i like to describe this song as "empathy/compassion 101." not only is it a great song, but it's a good introduction to challenging the way we think about other people. love it.
❤
My thoughts exactly. We as Americans need more empathy. Thank you for your thoughts.
Everlast re-invented himself with his solo career from the hip hop groove of House of Pain. Check out Black Jesus from him, probably my favorite off the album.
he actually started with Ice T and the Rhyme Syndicate
This is a very deep song, I remember when it came out and even to this day it is still real. Like years back when I worked at a convenience store where there were a lot of homeless people around, the line that goes "god forbid you ever had to walk a mile in their shoes", well just walking a mile in their shoes in your thoughts is horrible. imagine actually living that. Some people give them money or buy them food, others ignore them or complain about them and ask you to call the cops because they shouldn't have to deal with people asking them a question when they come to the store. And it was crazy that people with money would steal more often than homeless people. I would buy this one homeless guy I got to know food and drinks a few times a week, he said it sucks when every day you have to ask strangers for money or have to go through dumpsters hoping you find something edible enough just to get by to the next day. I have many physical and mental issues myself, I have done so much dumb shit, it is amazing though how you feel when you help a fellow human being, in that moment you forget the pain, the problems, you both get that feeling that hope is not lost and it may be enough to help you keep going anticipating other moments like that.
I dont know you, but I love you. Stay cool
My brother and I are complete opposites on this matter. He is of the opinion homeless people are all lazy drug addicts. I've tried so many times to tell him you have no idea what they have been through or what they're dealing with. You don't know what caused them to be on the street. While I'm sure there are a few like that I can honestly say the majority aren't. I actually sit down and talk with them and help every time I can afford it
“Ends” and “White Trash Beautiful” are really good songs too by Everlast.
Ends is the best song off Whitey Ford. Still don't understand why that one got dick for radio play.
Yup….”White trash beautiful” is amazing
White trash beautiful is so good, got Jesse from breaking bad in it too lmao
Stone in my hand
Bruh, I haven't heard White Trash Beautiful in a bit. Solid af song. Same with Ends, hell the whole album is dope. Mix it up and go with some Everlast rock and listen to Hot To Death.
This song has seriously deep lyrics.
It's not very often that I love a song from the first listen, but I went right out and bought this CD immediately after hearing it.
Me too.
That’s exactly what I did.
I remember when this song came out - it was such a departure for him and in the best possible way. I’m glad you guys did this one.
I'm 47 years old, but I'm still 23 in my head. I live for music, past and present. Lyrics, beats, and real expression. Who can say that music hasn't saved them at some point? I love your reactions to songs I haven't heard in a minute, but bring me back to a time where they were constantly present in my life. Y'all rock.
Everlast is a legend…. legend as a song writer, blues singer and legend as a rapper. His music is always with me since I was 14………Im 41 now ;) peace from Hungary
I always liked this song because it's a cold slap in the face as to the reality of what exists in the real world. Most take life for granted and try to distance themselves from all that is happening and he is just warning everyone that you are only one wrong step from a different world. Glad you reacted to this. So few do.
Deep as hell, you never know what someone is going through, god forbid you have to trade places with them for a while.
One of the deepest songs ever written. Amazing song and I generally like stuff heavier. All time favorite. Flow of this song is magic
He’s got some deep tracks. That whole album is 🔥
Right ✅

Real true! Much love to you ❤
Everlast actually has quite a few good songs. He does an acoustic version of jump around thats definitely worth checking out. I also recommend the song "I get by"
You should know that the person who singing this song is the Same one who brought you the song Jump Around from House of Pain his name is Erik Francescis Schrody.
Everlast - I get by. One of my favourite songs of all, period.
Everlast - White trash beautiful. One of the must hear songs from them as well. Enjoy!
I Get By is seriously underrated. One of his best for sure
First time I heard this song I thought- damn, this dude is spittin bars.
This song can be summed up with one word. EMPATHY
This was fiiiiiire!! Love watching you discover a lot of very underrated artists 🥰🥰
Anytime I feel like life is too good or things are going too good, I play this song to humble me and remind me things can change In the flash of your eyes 💯
Everlast still putting out great music. Had a song last year called “Slow Your Roll”. Video is dope. You’ll see he’s a lot older now ... lol.
Simple, but real and heartfelt.
This is one hell of a deep song and still very relevant.
This one of the first songs I learned to play on guitar 10 years ago. 🔥🔥
I highly recommend his Grammy winning song: Put Your Lights On (featuring Santana) and a song he did while in La Coka Nostra: I'm An American. Both are completely different and both are completely brilliant.
Timeless classic!!! Take note of the message!!!
I know the feeling. People labeled me as a gangster, when they never know why I had to be this way. This was during the crazy years in the 90s Sweden. High employment, recession and the rise of the nazi gangs. Even I look white, I'm a karelian. We'd different culture the other so called "normal white culture". I was knifed by an nazi when I was 12 years old. Then they found out who I was, so its was normal for me to hearing "Go home you f-ing tattare" Tattare is a racial slur against us. I always answer them back: "I'm already home". Things escalated out of control, then come the peace. But then comes rumors about me. "Don't hang with him, he is a gangster". They still talking stuff what happen over 30 years ago. 😔I'm not that person anymore. I've changed, we all do. So its hard to getting new friends, due the gossip in my neighborhood. I'm trying to move out from here, to get an fresh new start. Where I can be me. So this song I can related to.
Real is real. 💯
Song is very relating to what we see everyday.
deep social comment as an art form - thank you for reviewing
Eerily captivating. At the end of video, contrast, family enjoying themselves oblivious to " What's it's like". Reality..makes you take a step back and think.
Powerful bluesy rap rock song! ♥
I love this song~ so real
This song is deep! Great reaction as always! The song Ends by Everlast is deep too
You nailed it. People so quick to judge. Without ever knowing the other side.
Love that you guys have such a wide variety of music. This is some real ish
You do realize this Everlast from the song Jump Around you did!!
love him! "my morning jacket will rock your world though!" wordless chordless is the shit!
Everlast. Legendary MC and singer/songwriter. Check more of his stuff. He has classics for days in different genres. Talent
Another great song and reaction! I’m really enjoying your channel day after day
Appreciate you a lot!
One of my top 5 favorite songs of all times! More Everlast please …
Glad you gave this one some love 🤘🎸
I was just going to recommend this for you! Soo good!!
I like everything about this song.
I just heard this song on the radio today, i love it.
Everlast has so much great music and here are a few on my play list: Dream State, Dont Complain, Two Pieces of Drama, Smokin n Drinkin, I Get By, Slow Your Role, Blinded By The Sun & Today (Watch Me Shine).
This whole Whitey Ford album is good.
Whitey Ford is the mastermind of Everlast and House of Pain...2 top notch musical and lyrical masterpieces!
Everlast let me and my friends sit on stage for my 21st birthday in Boston. He's an awesome guy.
A couple other songs along the same vein are, "Another Day In Paradise" by Phil Collins and "Just The Way It Is" by Bruce Hornsby and the Range.
Yeah it was an incredible song I was going on my teen years in 1998 when it first hit the charts I remember staying up late nights listening to it on the radio station k i s r Fort Smith Arkansas it was one of those famous songs in my book it was just one of those songs that stayed with you and chilled you when you got into the lyrics because it was like everyday life hardships that people go through what it's like just brings me back I appreciate that you too are reviewing old classics that I never hear on the radio anymore that I wish they would just bring back.
Wow....I've heard this song a million times but watching your reaction had me REALLY listening to this song for the first time.
Please react to Everlast singing "Put your lights on" from Santana's album "Supernatural". Another deep one.
We are all to quick to judge people. Sometimes it's legit sometimes it is not. Figuring out the reality is the challenge. Great reaction, thank you both
You all should watch the movie Judgement Night with Everlast, Cuba G. Jr., Emilio Estevez, Stephen Dorff, Denis Leary.... many more, one of Lydell M. Cheshier's first movie roles.
I remember going to the movies to see that but I couldn’t remember the name.
This song is important in the history of music because it’s that moment when rap and rock music first started to collaborate and racial lines were being crossed between the two genres. It’s not the first example but one of the best.
Grew up really loving & appreciating this song on such a high level knowing there's so many out in the world who we're dealt a bad hand in life as you'll always hear from those who'll tell you to accept it for what it is when these type of people which was given there heart's desires as then they want a look down on the unfortunate w/ not even caring to be an inspiration. 🎸⚡⚡⚡
Everlast..Whitey's Revenge ( Eminem Diss)..This is why Eminem killed him with Quitter...
A true poet, we must lose
Man if you was a 80-90s baby you would have heard this on the radio so much its like a flash back 🙃
In the end it shows a family living in a glass house, so the song is saying people who live in glass houses should no cast judgment
One of my faves from that Era, the message is deep and never gets old😃
Some early pac you should check out is same song - digital underground, I get around - tupac, I don't give a f**k - pac, trapped - pac, holler if ya hear me - pac
Still a great song. Everlast was in Ice-T's group Rhyme Syndicate. 🤙
It’s all about perspective. You don’t know what someone is really going through unless you’re in their shoes. Personally, I just try to go through my life not telling other people how to live their life.
Thanks for your reaction to this song.
They are looking into the life of a happy family and what they missed out on. To prevent the odds of ending up in a bad spot starts with the stability of your family.
the 1990s was the best time for all kinds of music
..better then the music of today
If this song hits you in the feels. Check out Five Finger Death Punches song Wrong Side of Heaven. That song will break your heart on
How this country treats its veterans.
HE GOT A GREAT EM DISS. TAKE IT HOW YOU WANT.
Just some of the best lyrics. We don't try to understand as much as we should. You guys get it..cheers
Everlast has had an amazing career I love his music and every album he’s come across
I love pouring a drink and listening to y'all in the evening. Much love to y'all from North Central Arkansas.
P.O.D. - Youth Of The Nation
Ends is another must hear!
You are so right people are too quick to judge.
You're right about people rushing to judge others, we really should put ourselves in their situation before we start criticizing
After suffering a heart attack an live to tell the tail His music is a lot different after his moment in time Don’t fry me wrong still slams I would strongly recommend “ watch me shine “ to react to Another great song!
Saw him live at Fox studios, had Butterbean fighting a promo match. Those were the days! Whitey Ford sings the blues was a really SOLID album.
How is that the same guy from House Of Pain. Looks like a totally different guy. Totally different sound of course too. He was at a ball game in the seats last week and the whole stadium sang Jump Around to him. It was amazing. And now he looks like an old man but he's just my age. Three completely different people all in one.
Everlast was with House Of Pain.At 29 he had a massive heart attack .Love Everlast.
Crazy but this was one of my favorite jams back in the day
Jump Around really full view on Everlast. This is where he started to change the game.
I also highly recommended “Lonely Road”….it’s also fantastic!
I love the tune. I myself don't come from the aspects of the song, but it does speak truth.
Empathy. This song is about empathy. Something sorely lacking in our society. You can look down on someone. It's easy. But to walk a mile in their shoes? Most people lack the imagination or vocabulary to even mentally do so, let alone literally. Where it is usually depends on where you start. Another deep line.
Ends is also a song worth listening to, this whole album is good, also he is featured on a song by Santana called Leave your lights on that that is fantastic
Yep......Damn......🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥✌
This song is timeless
He's actually the guy from House Of Pain
He definitely writes some deep lyrics. "White Trash Beautiful" and "Stone in my Hand" are great as well, but my all time favorite is "Saving Grace".
Mad respect for doing a reaction to this song
I also like his song Lonely Road.
"Long time" is also a killer track by him
I LOVE THIS SONG!!
"Black Jesus" and "White Trash Beautiful" are both good
what a song.
From memory Jump won the award for best Hip Hop and the next year What it’s like won the best rock song.
Making the first person to win Best Hip Hop single one year and the Best Rock single the next year
Shinedown simple man please!
I love the ending where all these people gawk at the "typical normal family". To so many people that idea is so foreign its like looking into a zoo exhibit.
The lead singer of Everlast is also the lead singer of House Of Pain!!!!!
