Jiufen, which was rich in gold mines in the early days, was known as the "Golden Mountain City". The settlement prospered due to the influx of gold mining people, but later became quiet after the decline of gold mining. In the 1990s, the movie "City of Sadness" came to Jiufen for filming. The beauty of mountains and seas, retro architecture and unique sloping landscapes jumped onto the big screen, making Jiufen a beautiful mountain city that fascinated domestic and foreign tourists.

Public transportation:
1. Take the High Speed ​​Rail or Taiwan Railway and get off at Taipei Station - transfer to the Taipei MRT and get off at Zhongxiao Fuxing Station - transfer to Keelung Bus 1062 (to Jinguashi) and get off at Jiufen Old Street Station.
Note: The Keelung Passenger Transport pick-up point was changed from Zhongxiao East Road to Fuxing South Road.
2. Take the Taiwan Railway and get off at Ruifang Station - transfer to the Taiwan Express - Golden Fulong Line and get off at Jiufen Station.
