- Buying a second-hand iPhone in Malaysia is risky. Especially the owner doesn't have the receipt.
Many people bought from Mudah, Carousel, and end up with No Service problem on their iPhone after some time using.
Those handphone shops told them they have a motherboard problem.
They keep pushing them to my workshop. I made this video to give more awareness about this issue to Malaysians.

I got iphone from Digi. Use other sim like Hotlink, Umobile working well but when insert Tune Talk sim shows no service. Network also said phone is not allowed. Is it telco lock? How come maxis and umobile still can use?
OK BRO here is my situation i unlocked a sim which pervously locked before but after that said no service and same issue like you said not allowed but i already unlocked sim

Telco lock basically means blacklisted, which happens in European countries.

The explanation is on point, but it doesn’t help me to resolve the problem. I’m the owner of the phone which I purchase and I used from a telco Center. ( paid finished also)
After swapping SIM card the phone says is not allowed.
Use the same sim to other phone things are working fine.

I paid all my maxis bills. No sim restrictions. I can use maxis sim only. When i insert celcom sim at physical sim. Nework tab phone is not allowed

I need your help.
I have an iPhone 6s Plus and plan to let my daughter use it. It and can detect Maxis, Celcom and Digi but not Unifi SIM card.
When I inserted a Unifi SIM, it keeps showing No Service. I even went to Unifi centre and got a replacement SIM card, it still shows No Service. The same Unifi SIM work on other iPhone and Android device.
I have followed your Step-1 and Step-2 and confirm the baseband and Network IC are working: (*#06# show IMEI and MEID) and (it can call 112 and reach an answering machine speaking in Malay).
What could be the issue with my iPhone 6s Plus ?

I bought a second iPhone which was still within Apple's warranty period, about -+ 3 months of use, suddenly the iPhone didn't get maxis service, but for digi and celcom services, the iphone still works. does this iphone include the telco set? because when the maxis sim card is used the same message appears (phones not allowed)

What if we go to telco center and pay all the outstanding bill are they gonna unlock it? And i have 1 question if we go to telco center are they gonna they tell this fon belong to who?
So far I see they said yes but eventually still locked after paid them.
Second question, I’m not sure. According the privacy policy, they can’t. But it’s depends on the ppl who check for you if they willing to violate the rules.

From hundreds of cases I seen last year, they didn't change it. This year I don't know
Isn't your solution is to use a Rsim to bypass the network ID lock? Or is this different than a simlock..
