Great job on painting.
So happy that you are teaching the kids cursive writing ❤
Looks good..such hard workers..stay safe and healthy..😊❤️🇨🇦
Hello beautiful family like always I enjoy your video love watching you guys and the kiddos thank you
Love it when everyone works together
It was good to see the kids are learning/doing cursive writing. Nick, coverage on paint is rarely close to the estimates, especially on new construction. 3 years ago I built a 1500 sq ft shop, with 12' top plates, for my son at his house. Sprayed the raw drywall and texture with PVA, good coat coverage, it chewed through 5 gal buckets. After that, 2 top coats and even a 3rd to get it totally uniform and visually as desired. It always takes more paint that you think it will. We covered the floor before texturing and paint with heavy brown paper sold on rolls at HD meant for construction, at a reasonable cost. This eliminated hours of clean up an we just sent all the paper to the recycler so it wasn't wasted. The space is looking good and I look forward to seeing it finished. Have a great week and I'll see you on the next one. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
Paint won't go as far as on the label when spraying even if label provides an estimate for sprayer use. Argh.
@@roberthughes2665 Yep, that' been my experience as well.
Me gusta su familia porque son simpáticos, guapos, y cuando empiezan algo lo terminan. Son personas limpias y ordenadas. Todo está bonito en su casa. 👏👏👏👏👏🥰
Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 you all build the kids upper sleeping quarters! I would like to see how that would look!
We have the same sprayer...and I am with you on the pros and cons. It is great if you have a larger area to paint, but set up/prime the system/clean up process makes it not ideal if you only have a small area to paint...and I know what ya mean on paint not covering as well. We have a 1880 sq. ft house and a 1200 sq. ft shop, used about 200% of what they said we would use to cover...and it was not cheap paint...
👍Paint always makes a big difference
Hate when the coverage stated on the tin is not correct, so frustrating for sure but looking good. I admire you for wanting your garage looking pristine after all expensive vehicles are going to be housed in there. Having it white will I’m sure give you a even Light all round. ❤️💙❤️💙xxxx
Stud Pack had the same issue. Message him for all the filters. There are multiple filters in non-intuitive places. This is your punishment for texturing those walls....LOL
I like cutting torch tip cleaner to clean paint sprayer or other things with small out let holes.
I always divide that coverage estimate in half.
I think all paint suppliers are the same. Over state the coverage area. Maybe professional painters can get the coverage but not us DIYers. It looks great..
Get a cutting torch tip cleaner to clean out small holes
The flexible exhaust on the water heater really is a no no here in Michigan does not meet code should use hard pipe, but that is your choice. I hope your paint sticks to the walls where you did not use primer at time will tell though. Stay Safe 🇺🇸👊🏼👊🏼✌🏼🪚🔨
PVA is quite different to traditional primer that you are probably used to. It is meant to be applied super thin to fill up the drywall pores. I'm guessing you went a bit too thick with it. 👍
In the 🇬🇧 of white we call it egg shell
well dun looks great
Its always frustraiting when it doesnt do what it says on the can.!! If you are a regular customer of Home Depot, If you order something over the phone, rather than travell all the way into town can they not meet you half way, knowing the distance you have to travel. When I worked on a building site building houses, when a house was ready for Drywall we sent in a labourer to cover all the floors in cheap cardboard, whe they got all the mudding done and it was ready for paint, labourer went back in, swept the floors Turned over the same carboard, re-layed it to cover floors, and then in went the painters, when they finished, the carboard was taken up disposed of and the room was clean and ready for the carpenters.! I say this as I noticed you didnt cover your floors. Good job though, thanks for the video Love from UK x x x
Paint sprayers are great but ya must clean up when done. That's my problem....I hate the cleanup.
Awesome job !!!👍👍💪💪
Way better then trent
Just wondering what is the foundation that is there on the Property?
One day
You probably have 6000 square feet of walls
Never trust what the paint manufacturer says about coverage, always buy more, you can take back any full tins/buckets for a refund, next I wonder if anybody has ever put it to the test, in the difference in time it takes to spray paint an area or just roller paint it, for spraying you have to mask everything off you don't want paint on, and that takes a lot of time, then you have to remove all that masking afterwards, not to mention cleaning the spray gun and machine, it will take one primer coat and at least one top coat, perhaps a spray gun and machine clean in between, for a paint roller, you will need a couple of hand brushes too, but there's no masking required, one primer coat, and one top coat, as both of these coats are thicker than a paint sprayer, then comes the cleaning, Me I just throw the roller tube itself away, as they are cheap as chips and a hassel to clean, but I do clean my brushes, I have been using My same brushes for over 20 yrs, bristles are a little shorter now, but paint just as well, is the finish just as good/acceptable, as a sprayer, I think it is, also if it's going to take more than a day to get the job done, just wrap the roller/s and brushes in seperate poly shopping bags, (leave handles exposed) and they will be fine to use again the next day, again there's no cleaning of a paint sprayer or machine, that's why I would rather use a roller and brushes, anyday, what's your thoughts.
We wrap everything and stick them in the freezer... lol
Why don't you grow some fruit trees and save loads of money bud
