Thank yall so much for watching and commenting…. Full reviews of the Bolt TX60C and Hybrid 384 coming soon! You can pre-order Bolt TX60 Here: outdoorlegacygear.com/products/infiray-outdoor-bolt-tx60c-1024-hd-3-16x-thermal-rifle-scope?_pos=1&_sid=628911dc8&_ss=r
Just preordered mine from OL! Thank you for an excellent review of the Bolt TX60C. You presented it in a way that it was a must-have for me even after buying a TH50CV2 last year. Now the wait begins...
Damn it… wish pulsar would have done this. They should have offered the XL in 1.75x and 3x. 3x or more base mag is a must for me with the current technology
#1, Jason. I’m available. I will drive for you😂. #2 I am interested to see how power management is handled in the 90hz processor. Being it’s cycling 1/3 faster I’d expect considerably shorter battery life given the same battery capacity of the 640 Hybrid. (If you don’t dial it down to 50hz in the main menu)
No sir it was not. We were told at SHOT the first small shipment of RH50R MK2’s were in the warehouse but it would be in extremely low supply for several months which has proved to be true. We have been told it’s due to the availability of some component the RH50R uses. This 1024 unit is supposed to be available very soon as well in small quantities but we don’t know much yet about how future shipments will look.
InfiRay has the Tube TS 60 which is a 1280 sensor at 2x to 16 x. Will that scope be coming to the states? It seems that it won't since the 1024 bolt just released. Appears to be the same exact scope with a 1280 sensor.
Being an optic that’s outside the US we don’t have any info on that particular scope. There are tons of scopes that never make it to the US. It would seem that right now their new 1024 is the priority but it doesn’t mean there won’t be different models coming down the road. But there has been absolutely no mention of it from iRay USA to date. Thanks
That’s a question for iRay USA. We’ve been told “soon” and we hope we’re seeing light at the end of the tunnel. In all of our years, we can easily count the number of times a newly announce optic comes to market in the estimated time frame that’s given. We cannot, on the other hand, count how many times they’ve been delayed.ha! Hoping to see them “soon”.😎
Very cool! How does it stack up to the Pulsar Thermion 2 XL50 LRF 1024 Thermal Scope? Obviously the Pulsars the rangefinder and some more user friendly features, but really what is the difference in the iray1024x1024 vs Pulsar 1024x768? What does that second number 768 stand for? Is the field of view that much different? Base mag on pulsar is 1.7- vs 3 iray.. You did mention 3 base mag being more piggy lately.. Sorry for the rant just trying to be an informed purchaser. You probably can do an entire episode on this.
The 768 on the pulsar is the vertical pixels. So it's 1024 wide by 768 high. It's a rectangle. The iray is a square 1024 x 1024. But the ocular image you see in the iray should be a circle like a normal day scope with a display of 2560 x 2560. You won't see a square or rectangle display it will be a full circle. I think it records in a 1024 x 1024 square though not a circle.
@@jameskozlowski5496 So those numbers are just size of OLED display? Doesn't it have something to do with pixilation? With your reasoning then the Pulsar and Iray are the same sharpness but with different sized oled displays?
The 1024 x 1024 is the resolution of the thermal sensor so they are basically the same at 1024 width wise yes however the iray starts at a base mag of 3 because of the 60 millimeter objective lense so when both scopes zoom in the iray will look much better because the image will appear much closer at the same pixel density. That's why this will be great for coyote hunting at further distances. Also the amoled display is 2560 x 2560 so it will be better than the Pulsars I believe. The pulsar screen res is 1024 x 768 so not as good as the iray. Plus the the pulsar sensor is rated at less than 38 millikelvin. Where as the iray is lower at less than 18 millikelvin. Meaning it should have more definition and contrast (think high humidity)due to it being able to differentiate between two different areas that are very close in temperature instead of reading them as the same temperature and making the picture more flat
@theburgerking1337 Give us a call. We’ll be happy to explain it all to you and help you pick out the scope that works best for you. We’d love to help and have your business! 877-350-1818
What is the body diameter of the iray 1200 rangefinder that pairs with this new 1024 scope? I'm wondering if it will fit into a 1 inch or 30mm scope ring where I could mount it up in a rigid setup that I don't have to worry about it getting bumped out of alignment. I was hoping it was going to be in the ricco body with a built in range finder. I worry that the clip on mount will get bumped out of position in a truck and having accurate range is critical to long range shooting. But an alternative mounting method would help a lot.
I saw another review of this scope on RUclips. They had issues with it getting bumped and making it unreliable :( Every other part of this scope sounds incredible BUT I would still spend my money on a scope with built in rangefinder before this one :/
It mounts perfectly in a 30mm scope ring. I have had it mounted in a Ultra low 30mm scope ring and attach it directly to the 12 o’clock of the 30mm scope tube via a 30mm ring that has a pic rail on top. It does not shift and lose calibration.
The TS60 is a European only model. It’s. 1280 resolution and 2x. The TX60 is a US model that is a 3x 1024 resolution. In the US we have the RS75 1280 2x.
Yes the RS75 being a 1280 with a 75mm lens has a significantly better image quality but it also costs twice as much as the TX60 and it’s a 2x base mag. Feel free to give us a call if you have questions, we’ll be glad to help and would love to have your business. 877-350-1818

@@SongDogAssassin thank you so much!
Iray really needs to put lrf built into the bolt. no clamps and no Bluetooth!
Very nice overview of those two new products. Good to see Nathan from Infiray.
Thank you! Yes sir, Nathan is a great guy!
Great presentation guys!
Great info once again. Thanks, guys!
Thank you for watching!
Love to see new scopes but love the ones I can afford more lol. It is crazy considering prices 5 years ago what you can get.
It’s true, they are getting less and less expensive and I guarantee this will push down the 640 prices.
Great show. I would love to see that 384 sensor in a helmet mount unit.
Thanks for watching.
Dang that's cool! Love to see prices becoming more attainable!
They are getting cheaper all the time!
You guys need to do a show on the new Stream app updates for the Talion adding the ballistic solution. That's a game changer!!!
Progress is good, but the thermal market has forgotten some us that hunt in piney woods, cutovers, and bottoms that need a 1x thermal.

Yes sir we suspect the 90hz will be a battery drain but we’ll have to see. It’s also a feature that really won’t be a help to the majority of hunters.
Wasn’t the MK2 supposed to be available and available to ship when announced at shot show. Why is this different

I'm hoping the RICO RH50-V2 MK1 price will drop now. :)
