Fortunately with the update that was just released retuning the slope physics a little, this should be less of a problem! Hopefully. I haven't played that track myself yet, but I've watched gameplay of it, and that section has definitely looked miserably slow.

it wasnt JUST the microtransactions that killed ctr, it was the janky online infrastructure and sudden end of support not even a full year after the game's release. let alone the lack of a pc port. its a crying shame because i fully believe that ctr nitro fueled is the best kart racer ever made
