- Fluttershy asserts her dance skills with the help of her friends in this SFM music video inspired by FluttERR MLH and a cool song from Aoshi.
This is my longest animation yet both in terms of video length and production time. I have been working on it for the past 5 months. It took a LOT of effort to make this.
This is also the first time I have truly animated centaurs. Last time was over a year ago and was more of an animation test.
I did do edits to the song, because I didn't like the "nature" of the original because of the "ugh" sounds. I felt them to be unnecessary and detaching from the sweet amalgamation of beat and electronic music (especially towards the end).

For anyone feeling bothered by their clothing, please see this explanatory video: • 👙 WHY BIKINIS??? | Flu... and keep in mind they're anthros. We (originally, mostly) wear clothes to keep warm. They on the other hand have a full fur pelt on their body. They do not need as many clothes like we do and ultimately clothes would only increase the risk of them overheating.
Also, for anyone feeling bothered by "on the floor", in this video it refers to them simply doing dance steps on the floor, not anything else, questionable or inappropriate.

Okay because I saw how many people keep saying “why are they wearing bikinis?” I’m going to explain it because nobody here seems to read the description and just immediately goes to the comments to ask that question.
They have a layer of fur which is an insulator it helps keep them warm but is not as effective at keeping them cooled off, so the reason they have bikinis on is because setup1337 wasn’t lazy and didn’t make the video with nude models and stamp an emoji onto the bits that can’t be shown but also because setup1337 understands that they probably would wear the required amount to be “decent” but not more because they would have another insulating layer on top of the first one (the fur) to put it in human standards:
You have a pair of thick pants and an autumn jacket. Put those on. That will be the fur. Now imagine going through your everyday life with that stuff on and you can’t take it off if you overheat. Now would you want to add on even more material on top of that? Or would you put on enough to be considered decent?

I caught my niece watching these on her tablet. Why isn't this age-restricted? Sad that my sister really doesn't know how to raise her child well, she bought her a tablet/iPad/whatever instead of video games. Alright, well, this exists... I'll get to the point: you did really well with what you had to work with, considering those anthro models are not the best nor the most accurate I've seen. I'm not very fond of the centaurs - I find them a little creepy, but that's just me.
Again though, the work you put into this definitely shows, what with the four and a half minute video and the song editing to make it better fit your animation. Again, I think you might have been more successful if the models were a little more accurate, but the animation itself isn't half bad. I'm sorry this big project wasn't very well-received; try to look on the bright side, and I would ignore some of the nastier comments. Surely you've gained knowledge and experience from making this video that you will use for later projects. I hope you had a great new year :)
The centaurs were bit of an experiment, but they offered a nice variety and a chance to do something different. I do ignore some of the nastier comments.
I kind of expected it to not be well received, the brony fandom isn't very fond things that are too different from their belowed quadruped ponies or NSFW content.
