I agree 100 per cent with these ladies. Please call your doctor. Don't wait, we are all concerned about you Gayle. Love this video. You are a great teacher and I enjoy learning with you. Take care and stay safe.
I posted on The Paper Outpost FB group that yesterday you mentioned Pam and got 119 views and 28 affirmative replies that indeed, Pam IS 'peppy' and we love her for it. Most replied that they watch and love you, too, Gayle!
Hi Gayle! Because I love you so much, I am echoing the comments of others to contact the Cardiologist about the heartburn feeling, pain, and breathing issues. You know I have heart stuff too and have had to be aware of the same symptoms. Take good care of yourself Gayle! Thanks for all you do and I am so glad you have a larger crafting area! These collaged pieces are gorgeous! Luvya lots, 💖 Laurel
I am a newbie and love your channel. Thanks for sharing. I've heard you mention your Afib issue so please don't disregard your possible heartburn. Sometimes it can be a symptom of a heart attack especially in women. Don't want to alarm you but only want to share from experience. Take Care.
Love watching you make those collage snippets. I also enjoy watching you turning them into tags and journal cards, etc. I think I enjoy the chit chat almost as much as the crafting! Hugs💕
Gayle, I got so concerned watching this that I looked through the comments to make sure that someone had told you that heartburn is a sign of heart trouble in women especially when you have not had it before. When you sighed and said something about the pain, I jumped out of my seat. Shortness of breath is a major symptom. I am hours later than the others watching but, please take care of yourself. I do love what you made, I most enjoy seeing how you decide to cut up your big collages.
It's so fun to see the new design once you cut it into the various sizes and shapes!!!Amazing how they turn out!!!! Once I feel better I am definitely going to do this!!!!! Thanks sweet Gayle, take care and off to watch the next one!!!
Thank you for going through the process of cutting these collage sheets. I love to hear your thinking process. As I watch I compare what I think with what you are thinking. Sometimes we agree sometimes not, but I am always learning from you. Please take care of yourself and your family. Hugs and prayers. - Christi
Snippet rolls make a lot of my favorite thing in the Crafting World - Ephemera! 🤩🤗😍😮🎊🎉!!! I'm learning to like Snippet roll making! You mass produced stacks of Ephemera and did a great job decorating some of it also.🤩
Today is binge watching Gayle day! Good you've been productive. I've been watching The Good Place on Netflix, great slapstick silliness for stress relief! Stay well, thanks for keeping me entertained! 💖
Hi Gayle. I’m new to all this and have been struggling on where to begin. After watching your inspirational videos I will start with ephemera. First thing is a collage sheet. It’s such a joy to watch you and laugh with you.
Dear Gayle, I am so behind in leaving comments but I have been watching and learning. As I am new to Junk Journaling I find your tutorials amazing and you ate such an inspiration. I hope you stay safe and we'll and please keep us posted with your Afib and your cardiologist. I hope you start getting some better sleep. I suffer from insomnia along with a multitude of other things so I know how it feels when you don't get a good night's rest. Thank you for everything and I will try to get caught up on my comments.
Hanging the collage rolls is nothing short of BRILLIANT! I have been rolling them and securing with rubber bands which distorts the heck out of them. But hanging not only is an efficient way to keep them but it's also decorative. Whoever suggested that is one of them thar' genius
I like that you take breaks between the journals. Gayle that makes it fun to keep watching. well i do that anyway. but you no what i mean. i reaylly agree that making the from leftovers. is so much fun if you can cut cards and tags afhterwards the are beautyful.
Love those snippet rolls and when you cut them you just never know what you are going to get. They always come out so neat looking. You should sell ephemera from them you could have a slash busting scrap session and put Mr. A to work too, HaHa, but all kidding aside I hope you are feeling better and have taken everyone's advice and called your doctor to just be on the safe side,
I really hope you called your dr like everyone else said to. All the tags, journaling cards & belly bands turned out really beautiful. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing with us!
So excited to see you do the cookbook. What paper are you going to use? Gayle, please listen to your body about the heart burn and discomfort breathing. I know other subbies are saying the same. It’s because we’ve experienced the same thing. Take care dear heart❣️ Thank you for sharing 🤗
Gayle your collage tags/belly bands/journal cards turned out great. They are beautiful ❤️. I use the distress oxide and two things I found is that if you use fabric tac first the oxide doesn't like to cover the spot where the glue is. And it does react with water so if you are doing any layering that involves moisture it be will create some beautiful, but possibly not welcome effects. Love your work 😍 you are a beautiful person!
That 785 stamp gave a nice result. Happy Saturday and hope you are feeling good. My first dog was a digger. You can put chicken wire under the dirt. They hate that. Going to work on my snippets. Hugs!
Thank you for the inspiration Gayle. I am off to sew some masks but that will be after I try my hand at a pretty collage sheet that can dry while I sew. 😉 Take care and have a good afternoon. 💕
I have from my glass soldering days a roll of copper foil tape. It's sticky on one side. It makes fun borders. I love using it on tags that I like both sides. It becomes a two sided picture!
I am late watching this video, but I truly hope you sought expert advice regarding your health. 🤞🏻🙏🏻 💜 Love what you made, as always!!! Take care of you lovely lady!!! Big hugs, Sharon 🌷💜
Hi Gayle ,Sunday morning here can not sleep 1-30 am I have nights like this some times .So thank god for you .love watching . Take care xxHow is Jimmy Jo .
Hope you get to sleep in, dear one! Jimmy Joe is fine...a little naughty...he’s been digging up the landscaping fabric under our decorative rocks in the yard. Mr. A is NOT happy! Lol! He’s growing like a weed and a happy little guy!! Have a good day and stay safe and well. 😘❤️
I love watching how you choose what to cut from your collage rolls, it is very soothing. I love the pieces you decorated especially the one with the roses, you know I love me some roses… 😊😊They came out beautifully! 🌹🌿🌹
Gayle first off let me say how dumb i feel!! I suggested on the video you mad these to roll them! When i realized today how rigid they turned out I thought oh what a dummy I can be. LOL 😂 These would be great to create digi kits too!! They all turned out so yummy and your Embellishments really took them to the next level! TFS💜💚💙😘😍
Just started watching your channel 2 days ago, your creations are beautiful. You are so talented. I also began using the pages in my daily planner to junk journal for the first time. Thanks for the inspiration and tutorial for a beginner.
Loved seeing how you cut the collage papers into different tags, cards and pockets. Looks like many already mentioned you should call the doctor so I won't say any more. Just sending hugs and keeping you in my prayers. Love the tags you made today and love how the pocket came out. Adding the label and lace really made it awesome.
Hello Gayle , yes it wouldn’t hurt to call your Dr. Try drinking Canada Dry , ginger ale. It helps . I liked the things you made , very nice . 🤎 💛 🤎 Take care . 💞 💗 💞
Ephemera collaged by Gayle to buy? Yes please!! 😍 Love how these turned out...so pretty!! As I was cutting my collage sheets yesterday I kept think how would Gayle cut this. 😂 So much fun and I was surprised how many tags & journal cards I ended up with. Didn't think about pockets or belly bands..darn it!!
Loved seeing how you do this! It really does create a lot of ephemera! Basically this is a master board of scraps! Very cool idea! And looks like a great way to use all those scraps! I also have trouble with those stamp sleeves!
That belly band with doily is gorgeous. Maybe consider cutting 1 inch from each side up to the doily, then fussy cutting from each side of the doily to emphasize the circle.
Gayle try candied ginger for your heartburn , just break off a small piece and just suck on it for a while, A friend told me about it I didn't think it would work but it does. Now I keep it beside my bed and in my purse, I'm 77 with different tummy troubles , and found out you can teach a old dog new tricks
Gayle, you could sell just the cut-up bits from your collage snippet rolls and I bet they'd go as quickly as you post them! I'm sure plenty of subbies would love to take the pieces and make their own ephemera. Although I know everyone loves your ephemera, too. :-)
Oh my goodness Gayle iv been watching u craft an have been so worried I hope u have called your doctor by now, it may not b heartburn huni, plz plz call your doctor if u haven’t lovely crafting with u as usual big hugs xxxx
Hi Ms.Gayle, I agree with the 2 comments below,(I didn't read any others) about calling your Dr. We don't want anything that could be prevented to happen to you. Anyway...... I think if you put your Tim Holtz large stamps in your full sheet page protectors would work out better. The plastic is better and you won't have the sticky tape at the end. I know this was 3 days ago, so I hope you feel better. I have tons of videos to catch up with. 🙂 Big hugs my friend!!! Always praying for you.🙏 Liz K.
Gayle sitting her watching a movie “Call of the Wild” and thought of you and Jimmy Joe. If you haven’t seen it yet I could highly recommend it. It is a feel good movie, just what the doctor ordered. Buck looks like Jimmy Joe, except for his coloring, all grown up. You can buy it thru Amazon, all you need is pop corn.LOL!! Xoxo’s Barbie
Hi Gayle hope you are well and that you took the advise given by many in the comments here 😉 In this video you mentioned that you’ll might have to sell ephemera if you continue making these snippets roll things after each project. You could ofcourse but maybe you could also turn a portion of these rolls into a cover to make a little journal and fill it with the ephemera you make with the rest of the roll(s). Just an idea 🙂
As a heart attack survivor, please call your doctor and let them know about the heartburn, pain, inability to sleep, and other symptoms. It's important to let them know. Try the local hospital emergency line to talk to a nurse. Don't be worried about bothering them. Don't not mention something because you think it's nothing. That said, the ephemera you made looks lovely! I like the idea of hanging the snippet roll on the wall. Thanks for sharing!
@@gayleagostinelli_ct well shame on him! Definitely NOT as fun as crafting! We had our vacation to Gatlinburg TN set for April 4th. We had to cancel. So not kool. But we have to stay safe. JJ should make yard work more fun... well maybe lol xoxo
What a great idea. You got so much ephemera out of this card. What did you use as a base? It looked bigger than a Manila folder???? Hope the Dr. said all is well. You sure have heaps of very caring friends. Stay well....
As a nurse I hope you called your cardiologist Galye. That heartburn could be just that but it could be something more concerning. If you haven't already please call. Hugs!
Hi Gayle! Started watching this and loved the collages so much, I stopped to make my own. Late getting back to this. You are talking about heartburn and I saw others on here concerned about you saying this. With your afib things going on, maybe it wouldn't hurt to contact the doc's office as is being suggested. My uncle had a fatal heart attack some years back and he was having heartburn issues the week or two before. He was going to call the doctor, but put it off and one morning he was just gone. That's a true story. I'm not saying this is what is going on with you, but I thought I'd say something in case it could be a possibility. My friend, I'd really hate to see something happen to you and I didn't say something. I made my collage using junk mail envelopes. I thought I'd give that a try because I have so many of them. I'll let you know how it turns out. Such cute ephemera pieces today. I hope you are feeling better the day you get this. Have a good Sunday. If you haven't seen the Pope's Friday ceremony, I would highly suggest it. It was quite lovely and the message and prayers very calming and peaceful. God bless. Sue
Please take care of your health. Question: Is that the Fiskars Procision Rotary Cutter or the Fiskars 12" portable Rotary Paper Trimmer. I couldn't really tell from your "Favorite Things" and a bit of difference in price. Stay safe and thank you for all you do.
The cutter I’m using here is just the portable 12” rotary paper trimmer. I have the Procision Rotary Cutter on the table behind me. It is awesome for cutting thicker things like cardboard or chipboard. Hope that helps! ❤️
32:17...activated charcoal. If it's from something you ate like food that's gone bad or from over eating or some toxic (poisonous) something you've inadvertently swallowed or a nondescript acid reflux or gas, activated charcoal comes through. It's, also, a nice, little test: if the discomfort doesn't respond positively, you might consider the cause something organic. If the cause is one of the first mentioned 5 reasons and one capsule helps but not enough, take 3 at a time. It is a very benign home RX which, if taken much, should, also, be supplemented with Vit B. A bit of Castor oil (taken in a tablespoon of strong coffee), also, does wonders...and gives a nice, little 3-ply trip to the toilet. I highly recommend people keep both on hand for those unexpected events.
I too love working with the book page collage ala Carol Laws. Great for so many pieces of ephemera! I’m totally with everyone else on the heartburn. If this is something you haven’t had happen before, and considering your recent diagnosis, and the fact you’re on new medicines, I totally think you need to get in touch with a cardiologist. I know they called you and told you not now. But, you need to assert yourself, or find a different doc. I know they are all stretched thin right now. However, you are important too, and this really needs to be checked. Please, take care of yourself, make yourself a priority, be assertive. If we don’t take care of our own health, no one else will. I’m sending you much love, white light for healing, and peace. But damnit girl, ya gotta do right by yourself! If this is unusual, pay attention to it! Indigestion shouldn’t last all night and into the next day. From someone who has heart disease, and has lost a brother to it, and another brother has had open heart surgery, and my cousin has atrial fibrillation as well.
Gayle, I watched your video late today I had to stop it and say I hope you called your cardiologist. We all adore you ! If it gets worse or you have shortness of breath just please go to the ED.. You probably are tired of hearing this. We all just care about you. Hugs
I know you have probably said it before, in many of your videos, but where did you get your ephemera journals (that hold your butterflies, botanicals, etc)? Did you make them?
Don’t know off the top of my head, but I showed the stamp set and gave the name in a recent video - Gayle Mail-Shopping Shares. You should find the name on that video. Sorry I’m not where I can get to my craft room to look. 🥴❤️
Hi Gayle I get heartburn but only when i drink water I have a tablet to take everyday think I used to have become.truly hope that helps n please call it doctor. Alanna xx
@@gayleagostinelli_ct Well THAT explains it! I'm a million years old and makeup is quite ineffective at this time in my life so I never visit that department - which I now call Memory Lane. If you ever need to know where where to find Metamucil and canes just contact me :-)

I love this video. I am just learning all these techniques! Do you have to put modpodge on these snippets before cutting them?
No, no mod podge needed. They are well glued down and I see around the she’s of the final ephemera piece. ❤️

@@gayleagostinelli_ct thank you
32:17...activated charcoal.
Yes, made them. If you search Gayle Agostinelli Ephemera Folios on RUclips, you’ll see the videos. 😁❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct Thank you Gayle! I will search for them.
I’m going to try a collage snippet soon can I use scrapbook paper or do I need digital paper
Scrapbook paper will make the snippet thicker but works fine. Use what you have for sure! ❤️
Hope you’re feeling better friend......listen to your body......x
What is the name of stamp pack you used with the number/ multiple stamps by Tim Holtz...hope you feel better. 👍🐰🌻
Don’t know off the top of my head, but I showed the stamp set and gave the name in a recent video - Gayle Mail-Shopping Shares. You should find the name on that video. Sorry I’m not where I can get to my craft room to look. 🥴❤️
I was reading the comments I agree with everyone else
Hi Gayle I get heartburn but only when i drink water I have a tablet to take everyday think I used to have become.truly hope that helps n please call it doctor. Alanna xx
Can you please tell me where it is you get that sponge for distressing? I see it in lots of videos but have no idea where to find one.
It’s a makeup sponge. You can get them at any of the big box stores in their makeup department or online. 😁❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct Well THAT explains it! I'm a million years old and makeup is quite ineffective at this time in my life so I never visit that department - which I now call Memory Lane. If you ever need to know where where to find Metamucil and canes just contact me :-)
Very sweet! Does your daughter/you use YL products? I find ‘Alkalime’ very helpful! Also discuss this pain with your cardiologist. ☺️ Stay safe and well! Anxiety can cause heart episodes so spend some time in quiet contemplation with our sweet Lord before sleep. The phrase ‘Do not fear’ or ‘don’t be afraid’ or such sentiment occurs 365 times in the Bible - one for everyday of the year and all scenarios! Love and hugs to you sweet friend! Thank you for sharing! ❤️
