CLC Panel Discussion - The Industry Competence Steering Group (ICSG) Working Group 2 - Installer Group and the Wider Context of Competence
Join the Construction Leadership Council to discuss what competence means in practice and how we can all come together to uplift the level of competence across the construction industry. Bringing everyone up to the required level of competence is one of the fundamental ways to address building safety and to ensure all buildings are safe for those who live and work in them. This session covered current work by the Industry Competence Committee and Industry Competence Steering Group and provided specific focus on the ICSG Installer Working Group (WG2) supported by the Council. This group was established to address competence issues in the installer sector, focussing on the development of competence frameworks.
