I changed my Nvidia driver from Game Ready to a Studio driver and it seems to be helping, a build I made that was crashing with graphics on low is now running smoothly on medium settings, but I need to experiment more.
Yeah. I shut off in game overlay on Nvidia and I haven't had issues....yet
Totally understand the frustration. As a non-techy person who doesn't 'game' but enjoys this particular game, knowing that gamers/streamers as clued up as you are, are having the same issues, it makes me feel less stupid! I spent a whole week building a house in sandbox, and the constant crashes were infuriating. Unfortunately for me, one crash deleted my whole house. . . GONE! I did get an email reply from the dev after a few days, which I didn't find helpful at all (i did explain to them that im not techy, so a techy reply was like another language). Let's hope the issues are resolved soon, as the frustration is starting to outweigh the enjoyment of the game. TO ADD - im using a brand new gaming laptop which ive been assured by techies is NOT the issue

I feel your frustration as I have had this problem of crashing to. Someone asked me what my PC schematics were, and at that time they were like i5 6600k, B350M MB, and a 2060 GPU, and only 8gb ram ddr4, and it was wreaking havoc with even lower games I was playing. I've now upgraded my system to a r9 5900X, B55M MB, a 4070ti and 32 gb ddr4 ram. It's like night and day, no lag on HF1 or crashing. Same for HF2 but I haven't ventured into sand box mode yet...but I do sandbox mode in Hometopia and it's a ball for me there, no lag at all. Maybe you to might want to try it out, and see how you like it. 😁☺ ❣Love your channel to btw, great builds.
Its becoming a joke to be honest. My pc is made for my personal profession and there's not one game out there that requires what I have. This is a failure in the engine they used and they know it.
@@renovategamer Maybe they should switch from Unity to Unreal Engine 5? I wonder if that would help things at all?
I love how the pool turned out. But I feel your frustration. It's the same with TS4 it feels like they just released the game and then just abandoned it. I guess they went the same route as EA...all profit while releasing broken and bugged games.

I had a problem with the game crashing i had to install a codec and it soughed it out had no problems since
Unity crashes are really annoying, there is a whole rewriting of files I did to fix my issues and I do not recommend that anyone do it the way I did. I know coding and these people are just messed up in their coding of the Unity system and have never took the time to overwrite their error built into their coding. It isn't something the developers can do it has to be Unity.
