I love Kubra as an actress, but now, it is difficult to say that I love her more as an actress or as a person. She's such a balanced personality with a perfect combination of sense and sensibility. Though, I feel that she has more to tell in relation to her sensitive and spiritual side, hopefully, someday..

Hassan is such a wonderful interviewer! He has the right attitude towards the guest, sense of humor on point, questions are so good and he makes the conversation flow so easily! Great!

Raised outside of Pakistan and dresses in eastern attire. Thank you! It is always interesting to see actresses born, raised and claiming love for the country barely covered in skirts.
Kubra also wears revealing attire now and again, so no point thanking and trying to take digs at other actresses for something she herself essentially does. Ushna was raised in Canada and wears very revealing and westernised attire as well. And then there are actresses raised in Pakistan who don’t wear such attire. Also love for country has nothing to do with your skirts length. Love for religion, yes, country, no.

This girl is so genuine Mashallah. Sometimes I get an impression of ignorance from people but this girl is lovely. There's a difference between being flawed and ignorant , we all are flawed ,we can't be perfect but we shouldn't be ignorant.

Kubra is from my home town KABIRWALA .her Maternal home is 5 mins far away from my home .she has come to Kabirwala oftentimes.she is genuinely beautiful ♥️🌺
So kubra is from your hometown. Is it true that her family belongs from the shia community and they are the biggest landlords of kabirwala.
So sweet, humble and genuine. It’s clear that she is very conscious of her work, and has evolved a lot since she started.
As far as the critique she gets over her accent, at least she works on it….the same standard should be applied to those actors/actresses who have English dialogues when they’re cast to portray a rich person, or someone “jo bahar sai parr kai aya hai” - I mean, their English accent AND grammar is usually shit. If they’re given a margin of error, extend the same courtesy to her - especially because she’s so well rounded and a great addition to the industry.
I loved her in Sang e Mar Mar, Alif and now loving her in Sinf e Aahan. Good actress.

I have sooooo much time for Kubra Ji. She is a serious actor and has a marvellous talent. I
truly enjoyed her work in Sang e Mar Mar. She was absolutely mesmerising. It was a mature and wise performance and showed her growing skills. I also really appreciated Kubra Ji in Alif. She gave such as restrained and emotionally raw performance!! HKKST really suffered as a project once Mashal died. Kubra Ji was impressive opposite Mahira Ji who is also incredible. Her performance had such subtlety and nuance which is why so many people connected with Mashal. Sinf e Aahan is also tremendous and Kubra Ji is so relatable in the role. We are interested in her character's journey and how she is growing as a person through her experience in PMA. I found her letter and Sara's letter the most moving, they made me cry. What a wonderful performance she has given.
Kubra Ji is a fellow Londoner and I can totally relate to her experience of being judged in Pakistan. Urdu was my first language growing up in London and I don't have an accent in Urdu or in English. However, if I made the slightest mistake in pronunciation or grammar, people made sure to make an issue of it. Also, I was asked by pure strangers ii I was 'domesticated' I was genuinely confused as in England the term related to dogs and cats being toilet trained and not to humans at all. It turned out they meant could I cook, clean, wash, iron etc!!! I could!!!! whilst my Pakistani born female cousins didn't know how to even make pakoras and they never had to answer any questions about their domesticity!!!
Kubra Ji is right Zarnish Khan Ji, Sarah Khan Ji, Rabab Hashim JI etc all have accented Urdu as if they were born somewhere else but are not and yet no one comments on their Urdu or asks them where their 'foreign' accent comes from??? In fact, many Pakistani children don't speak Urdu anymore, in fact, Kubra Ji's Urdu is way better than theirs!!! Kubra Ji, keep doing what you are doing!!! Haters will hate. Allah will take care of them for you!

Kubra is totally right about her acting after alif. We also felt more connected and liked her characters more after that! There was a clear difference and development in her acting as well.
