  • Temptation is a wonderful thing, but sometimes gets out of control. In come the Ksafe from TheKitchenSafe.com that provides you with a timed lock to keep your temptations at bay. Very handy to put phones in during dinner, gamecontrollers during family time and more serious items like cigarettes or medication. Simple is its approach and awesome in its execution, the Ksafe is super elegant and very well engineered to make you get a grip on things

I don't want to buy one, but I haven't managed to get off RUclips all day on my own and have ended up at this site. It seems kind of expensive, so it's nice to be able to see your video before I make up my mind, because I want to be sure I'll use it. Thanks

It is expensive which is kinda holding me back from getting one. But at the same time, being expensive means I am very unlikely to ever try to break it to get in lol.

Its funny you to say that removing the batteries do not break the lock. I read one comment mentioning the opposite.

I'm wondering if I can put this thing in the fridge, assuming I want to lock inside a piece of dessert that needs refrigeration?

absolutely. It might drain the batteries a bit quicker though, since those generally dont like cold

Not one reviewer mentioning how secure it actually is. I’m interested in knowing how hard it is to open this thing by breaking it, so I know if it’ll actually help me quit smoking or just waste my $50 when I smash it out of anger lol. Good review nonetheless.

that would be a fun video to make actually. Its just hard plastic, but its not too thick, with a heavy hammer you should def be able to get into it. Besides that, the pins on the locking mechanism are not all that big and thick, so there is another point of entry with "relative" ease.
Best bet is to just drive over it with your car i guess :)
Point being though that you are gonna need tools to get into it, so thats quite a big hurdle and thats exactly the point of this i think

I appreciate the response. I've ordered one to help me control a few bad habits. It cost $86AUD which is probably just enough to stop me from smashing it when I want access. My friend has one made of metal that cost approx $280USD which also has no manual override. So if I mess up that'll be a good option.

@@warrenbailey5469 What kind does your friend have? I'm trying to look for a more solid one but cant find any.
