He changes the watches time using the dial but does weird movements with his hand so you focus on his hand the numbers he talks about always adds up to around 35 ish minutes he insures this by sometimes asking for 1 2 or 3 different numbers based on what the first and or second persons number is. It’s a very cool trick but it’s a lot like magic math😂
