The modern legend

Thank you Bandwidth, you are truly amazing.
Yes you are

Nice music!
ayyy cheers mate, congrats on the feature
@@Bandwidth_ytb fantasy, and a teaser trailer for an expo?
I remember I saw your first video when you had 120 subscribers, and now you have 11k. You've grown a lot on YT, and it isn't surprising considering how great your videos are.
Prove it.

Sorry but I asked first!
same reminds me of dankpods and scambaiter
I would like to play a horror game based on traditional Czech folktales!
Great idea, would love to see that aswell 🔥
I am from Czech and i think that this could be awesome because nobody did smth like that.

This is fascinating.
Creating original PS1 games seems a lot more complicated than it probably should be after nearly 30-years, but you're clearly talented and patient enough to overcome all the obstacles you have to overcome.
I'm looking forward to part 2!
Actually the more we go on, the harder working with older hardware gets, as they all use very outdated standards and technologies, making it more difficult to read and write software for those systems now.
But that's the fun part of homebrew after all :)
@@leonardoasaro1832 I think system like the NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, ... have gotten easier over the years, as there are high quality emulators and compilers that run on modern system. Things like PS1, Dreamcast etc. are in an awkward place, because the original tools leaked, are highly complex (hard to make a clean room implementation), not running on modern machines...
@@sarowie yeah you got a point. I don't know about the dreamcast but the official psx sdk is actually pretty well documented, and it's not too hard to make sense of it if you read the manual
found your channel from that last ps1 game video where you made a 3d ps1 game. i subbed immediately, i love this kind of content, im stoked for more
This is very inspiring makes you wanna get into ps1 developing, great job
Usually I never hit the notify button on premieres but in this case it was an instant hit because I know it will be good, thank you and keep it up!
IKR what a random success this guys has been recently, but he's a breath of fresh air in my feed.
The part where you walk around town taking photos reminded me off the time when I used to take photos and videos for video games.
I had a digital camera from Apple that was extremely expensive and only had memory for five pictures...
however, i think the industry was far better in the 90's than it is today
you know i had kinda an idea for trying to make my own Sega Saturn game or demo or whatever probably years ago at this point. I just didnt even want to try and ever since i now watched your PlayStation video its kinda motivated me to look into saturn dev whenever i have free time. Its really hard and it will still take a long time but this is pretty motivational for me.
good job.
greetings from Germany!
Your previous videos about this were extremely interesting and fun, I kept rewatching them because of how good they are, as someone in their last year of computational systems engineering, it is really inspiring, keep up the amazing work !
Very interested in seeing the next part of this series!
loving these vids, I look forward to seeing more.. I've always wondered at the tools and how this kind of thing was done, and watching someone stumble through it is cool (respect, I would never bother with something so complicated).
Saw your first PS1 dev video about 2 months ago and seeing how far you've come and how much your channel is growing is amazing. Keep it up man!
I loooove your videos!! They're so simple and entertaining! In one of your previous videos you were questioning the format, well I enjoy it a lot. Keep up the good work man!!
I just saw this video now, I think its incredible what youre doing. The fact you went to get your own textures as well is really good. im too dumb to program but when making maps for CSGO Gmod and any other Source engined game, if i need custom textures i do the same thing! keep up the mint work! :)
I'm glad I subscribed to the channel! Good luck with this series 👍
This is pretty neat man, nice video!
Genius i swear ! You just did what i couldn't 4 years ago ( reminds me of lameguy64 and wituz )
Keep going, i'm really interested now !
I love this video series, is it possible u could do supplemental videos where u go through the code a bit? That would be awesome
Thank you so much this helped a lot!!!! You saved my life
Great work! Best wishes!
Now the video is on point, nice work!!
Amazing video bro, love from Brazil
I just love your content keep it up! 😁
You may not get as much views as the first ps1 gamedev videos, but keep this up. You're highly underrated.
Zajimavej content, prijde mi, ze PS1-related veci ted zazivaj comeback. Musim svoje psx zase oprasit, hh. Tesim se na dalsi videa :)
That's pretty cool! Nice looking town square!
This fountain really reminds me the first mission in Medal of Honor: Underground, also on PS1 :D
Great job man, love your passion, keep it up! Greetings from Poland! :)
I feel you blowing up soon. Keep it up your videos are unique and entertaining to watch.
Bruh this dope i hope you do more of this and you kinda sound like radal when you are near the mic
I love your videos. Keep going! Hope you’re having so much fun as we do
I am!
Taky se o programování zajímám a jde ti to dobře. Určitě pokračuj!
Looks like a Super Mario 64 hiden room whit a easter egg, i love it keep going :)
Love the content, keep it up.
This is so cool haha keep it up!!!
Thks for The video great videos they are really insperational pushing me to do what I can't do.
I'm just beingining on my coding journey though hope I make it
Oh shit! Back at it again!
Nice work! As an 8bit homebrew developer im really liking your PS1 development videos. No one else is making videos of it and it's extremely interesting. Got to sub to see where you take this
Keep it up, this channel will grow up someday
hey man! wish you best of luck on your project. I always wanted to start some old school game coding journey on my own, but time is not on my side :( so I will watch yours instead, and maybe some day I will gather enough time to do something on my own haha
nice man! See you are remaining committed to this direction :P
Awesome video!
when i see, how people develop a Game, then i feel me old like 60 xD so much knowledge, you have spend a lot of time to do this
I think it would be cool if the game is something like a horror walking simulator something like backroom, I mean this could not be a original concept but I found more interesting old ultra nostalgic feeling and graphic, in other games with backrooms themed could be cool with filter and things but no the same i found this this old graphics thing could to really looking game, and other than that I think is pretty simple to do, just walk, run, take pictures(i found some people saying that I think would be cool) even you can add something like puzzle to pass the backroom level
I really like this project and I think that you can go with diferent thematic we havent seen in ps1 before cause just make another plataforme game or other action game would be boring, a first person horror game in the ps1 it something I guess does not exist, so yeah heres my suggestion
Sick dude. Glad this adventure is still going
Me too! It's exhausting tho.
love this series
Ty si borec 🤣🤣, skvělá práce
LOVING THE CONTENT BROTHER !
Well, this is 3rd video I've seen from you. RUclips just knows I'm into PS1 stuff. I think it's overdue that I subscribe. Your subs kept growing ever since and I'll help with that. Keep up the good work 🧡
(sorry for my English, I'm Brazilian)
you have a great idea bro, keep going and make this video game, I love your job.
Love your chanel
This absolutely fantastic
using the dank pods testing music is a nice touch
can't wait!
edit: video was great
Hey man, loving these videos! I know it's a big ask but I'd really like to see someone do this for the PS3 being one of the biggest console homebrew communities ever.. I feel like there is a huge lack of information around the subject and it's something I'd like to get into myself but I need someone like you to remove the clouds of mystery xD all the best bro
Damn bro, you give of dankpod vibes, with the several quotes (E.G, Im arming the nugget!) And the background music from his headphone tests
same!
keep it up dude 🔥
To minimize OT sorting issues you can use AvgZ for objects and MaxZ for large scale models like floor or walls
I cant believe that he listened to my suggestion to start a devlog
It would be cool if you did a video about shaders and lighting next. You could show how to scroll a texture like the water in the fountain, etc.
The song in 3:51 makes me wanna "Oi matey how ya goin moite ye want some Vegemoite? Aye? Ya got drums? Ye mae i studied Jazz philosophy moite dont laugh maite its my life mate, I ride shitty cars too moite i call em noggits"
Strip poker. In a town square.
Keep up the great work!
Thanks, will do!
DankPods type backround music, very good
Photorealistic textures!! What an amazing idea!! I wonder if other game developers will use this in the future
I'm surprised RUclips Algorhythm picked you to be a worthy new RUclipsr and maybe a new indie developer.
Looking forwards to see how the game will end up and which genre will it be.
(P.S.: Cheers from Liberec)
I love your videos, make more pls
0:59 I thought my Discord went off. Thanks for that
great stuff man! let me know if you need any custom bg music :)
No to jsem nečekal že se do toho pustil čech :D
Oh wow this is legit! Good job dude, impressive
i dig the dank pods song choice lol
It´s beautiful * Elegant applauses *
this little series has become very cool!! come to brisbane!!
Hoping to see the 2nd part.
What a beautiful fountain, I'm in tears :')
This is awesome
I was here before this channel hits 100K subs POGGERS
I wish :D
3:18 SUPER MAX!!!
thanks you relly inpired me to continu making my game now i made it so you can shoot but in the past i did not know how to do that
The one effective technique I use is staying in touch with a financial coach for guidance, it might soft basic or generic, but getting in
would love to see a horror game, horror in psx graphics is timeless
Dude I was subscriber 137, this channel blew up!
I put this in my music playlist because I know this video will be good.
You just earned a subscriber. Port GTA London 1961 to PS1!
That's so cool!
How do you only have 15k subs you're really cool
very informative, I tNice tutorialnk you raised a lot of softians
Dobrá práce :D
I am not good at programing, but I still love watching your videos. Just out of curiosity, what is that operational system you're using?, is that a Linux distro?, I think I have never seen it before, but it looks very cool.
Very cool !
Saw that title and I was like LET'S GOOOO
Bro really got me interested on the ps1 again
Ohhhh another video of you, friend! How are you? Keep up the good work.
Great! Thanks for watching!
oh yeah i cant wait for this to premiere
Please keep doing PS1 homebrew tutorials, there are not enough and I am very interested! And is your program for converting 3d files to psx format available for download? I would love to use that.
I think the route you were taking with your two previous games, like dodging the squares and getting to a destination as goal, it would be cool to make like a horror/adventure game> Make those squares into creepy monsters or something? Would work really well and add creepiness with the ps1 aesthetic.
You predicted episode 2 lol
