That was interesting, you should safety brake an Otis Gen2 one day or even Kone ecodisc.
The building maintenance people should be able to top off the oil themselves...the way you check the level is to run the elevator to the top landing and check against an indicator inside the oil tank.
This was so much fun to make lol, this think has a leak somewhere and is almost always like this. It’s so much fun when it’s low on oil.
I still miss the days of “1, 2, 1” however.

Yeah if that elevator goes low on oil I would never ride that😂 but for the stainless steel elevator it is a challenge to clean off those fingerprints out

What company made this elevator? Also, how do I tell between Adams, Epco, and Innovation fixtures?
This is either a MontgomeryKONE or Kone, with series 220 fixtures. As for telling the difference, innovation fixtures are different than Adams/EPCO. Also note that EPCO bought Adams, read about it on the elevator wiki.

I would say this one is low on oil for 6 out of 10 times I come here...
If that's the case it will probably need the seals on the jack replaced. VERY expensive work.
Screw it let's rip it out and put in an EcoDisc then.
@@tkefan29 EcoDisc has too many issues. Otis Gen2 would probably be a better solution.
