That's why my fingers always shake when I'm about to click on Exo's video notification. Always wondering what he is going to talk me into buying now? lol
So what happens if you don't program these servos, what is the difference. Struggling to find steering power in my redcat, and want to try a reefs. But I currently have no way to do the programming.
Programming is only optional. Most of Reefs programmable servos can actually be tuned to utilize more of the energy it is given to make it more powerful.
Do you think this will be okay on a Scx10 pro with the internal 7.4 volt bec on a Hobbywing fusion pro 2300? I really don’t want to have to rig up an external bec and add any more wires than needed. I have been waiting for what seems like forever for nsdrc to release there rs700 direct power low profile servo, I feel like that would be best in my application. It is said to produce 850oz/in on 3S!
Yes it will be great on 7.4v, below are the numbers from reefs site. The minor increase in performance @8.4v is not worth adding a bec imo. Torque: 635oz @ 6v/ 715oz @7.4v/ 800oz @8.4v Speed: .12sec @6v/.10sec @7.4v/.09sec @8.4v
@@josephtiani6145 especially if you’re doing axle mountain servo you can wire it up with BEC power and have it be a little cleaner than direct power because you’ve only got one wire going from the servo up into the Chassis. There are a bunch of ways to skin that cat brother
So can anyone tell me, I can't seem to pull up the links to items anymore? I signed up as a paid subscriber and now, when I hit "more" it takes me to "description" instead of links to vendors?? Any idea?
I put the links in usually the night before I post them to public. If you’d like I can start putting links up now that I’m no longer working. It’s a time thing for me. This one I uploaded directly to you guys.
@ExocagedRC is not a really big deal. But I was noticing on your scx10 Bronco body clip video that no matter how I tried, I couldn't pull up a link to the body clip maker. You had mentioned that the link would be below.
$150 for 800....no, that's not a good deal. Reefs prices keep climbing. I bought Holmes-Hobbies SHV800 V1 SERVO for $112. It makes over 1200. His new V2 makes over 1300 for $140. Why don't you check out NSDRC RS700 Low-Pro Servo for $100. It's just as good as Reefs for 2/3rd the price.
HI JOE THANKS FOR SHARING SIR. DEFINITELY CAN'T GO WRONG WITH A REEF'S SERVO. IMAGINE PUTTING THIS IN A UTB 18 MAD. TAKE CARE SIR 🇬🇧🇺🇲🕊️✌🏼🤩👍🏼
I just ordered one of those today! I need it for my new axial pro.
Oh gah, ima have to have one of those
I'm loving the extra video since your retirement. Great video and great build.
Congratulations on retirement!! That servo seems perfect for comps.
Geebus that's things crazy
The triple 8 was the best I’ve found , gosh darn it now I have to buy this lol !!!

Mine is on its way! Building my Scx10 Pro at the moment and this is going to be perfect!
I'm just as impressed with the rig as the servo.
You give some of the most honest reviews.
Incredible Joe, awesome driving skills as well great to learn excellent techniques from a true professional
Ace video ,can this Servo be used in the team Corally kagama
My 10 pro will get one. As much as I like the 3brc that's in it now it took a beating on the first trail run....

That was a crazy recovery, lol.
How do you like that cheap dig transmission I plan on putting on in my basecamp
Impressive servo dude.
Sick Bro sick you do such a good job
HAVE YOU EVER REVIEWED THE NSDRC SERVOS?
What happened to your axial pro? Nice servo!👍😁😎✌️
a real mountain goat, it goes everywhere lol 😂
Did you start from scratch with the Pirate chassis? Kind of looks like an Ecto
So is this servo only for the scx 10 or can it go in a 1/7 arrma limitless
Wow that thing is awesome!
Would this be an upgrade from the Holmes Hobbies SHV800?
specs are on the website.......
It's got a crack addiction... It's tweaking.! 😂 😂 😂
Wow else is waiting on a Losi King Sling video ??

That internal BEC might have the voltage but it doesn’t have the amps. Get a BEC and run it at the right voltage and amperage.
@@rc7178 yeah, wish it was just direct power tbh.

There is no need to spend this kind of money on a crawler servo.
Dig?

This is basically overkill for 1/10scale 😂
i need that thing for my hard body😂
