Its not just history, its also definitions. For instance, Democracy and Republic which are 2 different types of governing systems. They are using the term Democracy to define America. however, we are a Constitutional Representative Republic. I believe they are doing this to downplay the power of the people.
I actually have been on the hunt for original books and the oldest set of encyclopedias I can find. This is a good topic. Even children’s novels, they aren’t the original stories we remember as kids.
I have been looking for old enclyopedias for a long time. I was with my daughter at our favorite used book store and they had a set of Britannicas for $19.99. I told her I really want this but I have no money. She bought it for me for Christmas.

One of the freakiest experiences I've ever had was while working with a lot of people in their 20s. Listening to these coworkers talking about events from the 80s, 90s and 9/11-with authority, lol- was like listening to fan fiction. When older people chimed in, we were told we were wrong by people who were born in the early 2000s! We were there, we lived thru the events in question. When I was that age I listened to older people talk about their lives so I could learn, these youngsters only wanted to argue. Very sad and odd.
I'm homeschooling two grandkids and let me tell you I thought it was me. When I help ha ha with homework like math, apparently I'm doing it wrong but I still end up with the right answer ? And science forget about it. May the good Lord watch over you and your family and friends. Peace and Love 😊.

Even cookbooks. They used to teach you how to cook, now they simply tell you how to add cans of Campbells soups.
