- 1949 Dodge Coronet. I checked this car out for a relative that was a little too far away.
Other than being dusty it was in good shape all things considered.
Consensus is that it was 6V positive ground.

Who remembers when they gave out S&H Green stamps with a fill up? Who remembers S&H Green stamps?
I remember those stamps ... my grandmother had a crap ton of them! We found them stuffed in every drawer, cabinet and hat box after she passed.

It seemed like it was helping BUT 10/23/20 I fell 25’ out of a tree and landed on my back. I broke 4 vertebrae and hit the back of my head hard enough to knock a lens out of my glasses.
It seems like that caused a lot of floaters to break loose and it really hasn’t ever improved since.
I remember them. My parents and grandparents saved them and got things.
Getting a high pressure washer onto that old Dodge would be so satisfying, looked like it was in pretty decent condition overall David.

What an awesome find! When I was a kid my cousins and I would play in a couple of old cars sitting on the family farm. I think one had straw in the seat. Don't know what model the cars were but today they would be worth something. This brought back great memories!
There was an old car out behind my grandparents house in the woods. No idea what it was.
Down around Gunnison Colorado I found a really old truck of some kind. It was abandoned years ago and had trees growing up through the frame and out where the windows used to be.
I would just like to compliment the builder of that barn. Kept that ol car snug as a bug in a rug! 😉

In 49, it would be a 6 volt battery and positive ground.

Awesome Dodge Cornet! It looks like it's in good condition. One of grandmother's had one for a long time. Brings back memories. I would love an old car like this. Dusty but I like the blue. Great barn find. Are you buying it?
