I ordered this phone to use as an alternative. for $50 its a no brainier. *A little tip:* 60 days after activation Verizon unlocks the device. This means you can take it to any carrier you want once unlocked. Probably the best deal I've seen on a phone all year. 😎
I did the same thing. One month of service for the phone, then unlocks the following month. Works great with verizon hotspot plan and also tested with google fi. Get more speed then straight talk close to 500mbps vs 150mbps.

Whats up with Straight Talk giving just a cable and no box. Not only is it just a cable its a USB-C to USB-C..Wtf. This phone can charge at 30W, so it should come with a 30W charging box and an appropriate cable..Straight Talk really starting to cut corners to pinch every bit of $ to save on packaging. Its actually annoying.

@WollyYoung I know it is. I actually almost bought the Motorola G Play 2024 a while back. The Motorola G Play 2024 is at least a step up from last year's model. On my carrier I can get it for $50 right now, that's a steal for a Motorola phone. My carrier which is cricket wireless has Motorola phones for decent prices which are really good steals at their price.
My moto g phone is an absolute dumpster fire. So bad I'll avoid anything motorola forever, unless i have a head injury and forget how bad this junk is.
