They already get this type of briefing. The west understand exactly what Russia wants. The problem is the western population see it as territorial grab and their politicians are wasting their tax dollars for not their problem.
Yeah as if this guy from a country that doesn't matter that works for a navy with 20 ships that's 2% of the size of the Russian Navy knows more than world leaders. Everyone knows this, they just don't care. Russia is a great power deserving of a sphere of influence.
Folks as a Ukrainian, I can tell you this. Listen to what Anders is saying. So far he is the one of the very few voices outside of Ukraine whose analysis on our war is super pragmatic and fact based. He never sugarcoats the pit we are in but he never bows down in awe of the "great russian empire which never loses wars" (it does lose them regularly by the way). Anders, we need more of your presence on Ukrainian RUclips channels to balance out a number of bad "experts" we have inside the country. Keep up the good work!
Yeah, I think those that have a passing understanding of history view Ukraine as a modern Finland, eminently superior warriors, just too small in the face of overwhelming numbers. Me, I think there's more than a hint of the Russo Japanese war, and in terms of abject failure by Russia, early responses to Barbarossa. It's not a manoeuvre war like WW2, but this also demonstrates most people's complete lack of understanding, if it's like WW1, look how far back Britain, Belgium and France were pushed? I know history, I'm no armchair general, I know enough to know Ukraine is trading space for time, and tonnes of fertiliser for its soil, I just can't see Ukraine losing, that's what I believe. Ukraine represents life, Russia anti life
As an American, I'm not going to war for the 404 territory and neither are any of my countrymen. Trump and everyone knows this. We are OK with Russia controlling the 404.
Asking you as a Ukranian, what is your opinion on the potential for political instability inside Ukraine? If the west misplays its hand and throws Ukraine under the bus like he's saying, the one thing I could hope for, as an imperfect, injust, but practical resolution, is that Ukranians could accept a loss of territory and no prosecution of war crimes without a political/constitutional crisis... if that was the condition for peace and real security guarantees, the alternative being Trump halting military aid, would such a thing be feasible?
Hey Mr Ukrainian: As an American, tell me one thing, when the hell did Putin ever suggest, insinuate or formally state his desire to subjugate all of Ukraine. He's not the idiot that you idiots take him for. He knows, just like I do, that would be a terrible mistake, even if he could accomplish that. There would be nothing but constant insurrection and turmoil. Take a pill, get a grip. You Ukes are losing dramatically more territory every day, and that's according to pro-Ukrainian US rags like the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. Ukraine is getting their ass handed to them in spite of all that fancy pants US and European equipment, that we (US) simply can't afford to give anymore. Those American attacams that are being used up like candy (and most are being shot down) are almost all used up. Basically, all the US has left is what the US needs for itself. The arrogant Ukes look at my country like an Amazon warehouse for war stuff. You boneheads either go to the peace table or there won't be enough of a Ukraine left to speak of - especially an entire generation of young men to repopulate the country considering how many people left which won't come back along with the horrendous losses on the battlefield. After all no matter what you care to believe, Ukraine started the war in the East simply because after being empowered by an ultra-nationalist hardline government ((that my country helped see to it implemented simply for the chance to foolishly weaken Russia, knowing what would transpire)) that hated everything Russian and began assaulting the Russian denizens in the far East to abandon their culture at gun point. As far as I'm concerned I hope Trump cuts off Ukrainian welfare completely, I'm sick and tired of carrying your ass - and so is most of the US. Ukraine lost territory, period, due to their own myopia.
'"great russian empire which never loses wars" (it does lose them regularly by the way).' The Russians are not going to lose this one - according to the video. And Ukraine will not exist. Ukraine had one chance to be an independent country and you blew it by selling yourself to America. You have lost the war that counts for you, and all you can do now is console yourself that Russia has lost wars regularly. Ukraine should never have been made independent, you are unfit for self rule.

Seeing as we have India-Pakistan issue, India-China issue and then what would stop Isreal from using nukes or US if the big 5 allows Russian nukes.
There are still some arguments, which are being left unspoken. One of them is the main reason why this war started, that is to prevent Ukraine joining NATO. This means, that either Ukraine will have to defeat Russia or the war is going to continue, since Russia will never agree to any peace deal which includes NATO bases in Ukraine.

Anders, in my opinion one of your best videos. For all the coverage of the Ukraine war, little is said about Moscow’s goals. I didn’t really understand what “political control” meant, but you outlined it beautifully here.
We still have prorussian politicians in the parliament, a good chunk of population supports them, even more people will vote for them just to prevent another war if we are left alone. Ukraine will become a puppet state without a foreign army on its soil for the time being. We actually see that is already happening in central europe in a way too where locals choose to vote for prorussian parties: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary or a prorussian candidare during president elections as in Romanis. @@Oblitus1 the whole objective of Ukraine was to distract and wear down Russia, this was pretty obvious from the very start, the reluctance to give the weapons needed for anything other than defence, questions really have to be asked, why did the Ukrainian leadership dispite not having the support needed pushed on with small failed attempts at break outs, this has persisted for years even the Kursk bulge has been a massive waste of limited resources, whatever the initial plans for that venture has failed, nothing of importance has been taken. Anders is Danish, the Danish government is one of the biggest supporters of Ukraine on a per GDP basis (baltics too big shoutout), this is no surprise to me as they are the few countries that ACTUALLY understand what this war is about and how it will affect them both directly and indirectly.
@@zi0 I'm sure all countries have people who understand this war to the same degree as Anders. However, what is important is who is in government and who they listen to. In Denmark our current government are a coalition across the center. So they are inherently open for nuanced and complicated debates. Now compare that to other countries. USA just elected Trump, France and Germany both just had their government collapse. Britain are still trying to recover from Brexit. Italy has a far right government. In short, many countries have their own problems to worry about, so they have less time and less incentive to listen to people like Anders.
If he is Danish he is a NATO muppet just like my countrymen have become. Lots of people in the masses are just so utterly stupid. OF COURSE there is war in Europe at present time. This is first 1,5 minutes, I’m too boring to listen next 13 minutes :D
It's so silly to suggest Trumo or others don't understand this. They understand, but don't care. Ukraine isn't worth the life of one American troops, never mind a nuclear war.
Thank you, Anders! That’s a very good video, highlighting many important points, including the prosecution of war crimes-a critical yet deeply undervalued aspect by many
Things can change. Out comes can also move in different tangents. Usually when a stalemate happens pressure on choice is determined. Behind the scene . Strings are manipulated between both parties to get a settlement. Unions have changed over 100 years and are subjected to this. By the fact numbers are reduced with in the Union. Here you have war. And people are lost. Also loosing their will to continue. The fact of Western influence is strongly infiltrated by Donald Trump. Trying to push into a direction to speed it up. Its important now to keep your priororitys. Not giving up land. Sticking to plan of joining NATO. Which cant be taken away. Putin as usual wants a full Russian Government in power . Controling the Country. And that goes back to how the war really started. Russia wanting control. I dont agree with this man. You are well placed to keeping your Soverignty. And your Country has had funds from the West spent. That needs to be clarified how its paid back. And is in your favour for support. Also the fact that Russia needs to repay compensation for damage to property. Death Benifits to familys for the funerals. And stress. Sanctions can be lifted after the war. Provided that the agreed repayments happen by Russia. There is no way you can have any Russian people in parliment at all. Now lets see if he replys. I wont. My choice is firm.
This understanding of Russian war aims seems obvious to the point of being self-evident, and yet is rarely if ever seen in western media. Blows my mind. Thank you for your insights, Anders.
The West wants us to believe that the Russians will conquer Europe if Ukraine loses. It's the excuse for why they have to invade Russia and loot their resources. They've been doing the same plan for the last thousand years.
People keep saying western media. Which western media? Whose western media? I’m in Canada with an overabundance of American media at my fingertips. I find there is plenty in Canada and the US that is next to useless, but sometimes one must wade into the deepens so as to keep an eye on them. Not all my media in N American. So I ask, which “western” media are you talking about?
@@georgine321 Maybe he was thinking of those Russian proxies, useful idiots from the west ,globalist and politicians sold to Putin . With such individuals most-likely Russia will win. Canada is full of them as well.
It’s obvious because this is the policy Russia has previously pursued in Stalinist and Tsarist times. I suggest to anyone interested a reading of Sean McMeekin’s “ the Russian origins of the First World War.” Then you will find exactly the same motivation. Unfortunately, Russia turns its neighbouring states into impoverished basket states and Russifies them as well. One thing that Anderson didn’t mention is revanchism. The insult of rejection by the ex Soviet, tsarist vassal states burns deeply in the Rusiky Mir soul.
I’ll just leave an over the top example to prove the point: a deal whereby Ukraine gets back ALL its territory and russia is hard guaranteed to never invade again, in exchange for russia installing a puppet government, would be a MASSIVE DEFEAT for Ukraine and the West. That’s how irrelevant territory is to the actual war aims.

Logical, clear, insightful and enlightening. Its crucial that Anders' analysis is picked up by the wider western media. Lets all do what we can to reference this video in comments elsewhere - for example in the comments under online newspaper articles, Bloomberg, etc.
Yeah a good stand up show! I especially liked the "ukraine acheiving prosperity with the west" part. While the west is heading to financial collapse. A comedy genius!
While it is concerning that many in the west have the wrong idea what the war is about, it's reassuring to know that all they have to do is watch this 14 minute video to understand what is really going on. Thanks for sharing as ever Anders. - you're the best at this.
The US knows; the majority don't give a fuck about this war anymore; only our politicians who gain do; its a European war, and we want our tax money to stop going there (Isreal too, but that's not happening).
We have Russian puppets in our parliaments working day and night for some pity petro dollars . Disgusting, but don’t forget that. Scholz and Habeck are walking a tightrope in GER atm. German Elections most likely in Feb will be a crucial point.
At least, Chamberlain had to deal to the aversion to conflict after the horrors of WWI and he didn’t have the example of a "former Chamberlain". Now, failing to see what is happening is almost criminal
Chamberlain's legacy is pretty complicated. I think we underestimate how much the Great War scarred people to think that any peace was better than war. That said, what followed showed exactly that not every peace is better than war. A lot of political disputes are quite nuanced, and there can definitely be cases where compromise is better than conflict. But it's really hard to see how Ukraine would benefit from capitulation, or being abandoned by the West. The only people who would benefit are short term Western politicians who don't care. Trump would like to wave a paper and say "peace in our time" but he's not the sharpest foreign policy tool in the... office... building... complex.
if it wasn't for Chamberlain who started expanding the fighter program before the war. The battle of Britain would of been over in the Axis favor. Remember the zeitgeist of the era. Less than 20 years prior the world fought a world war.

Thank Mr. Nielsen for his analysis of the Ukrainian war issue. I offer the following response: 1. An autocratic dictatorship is NEVER a legitimate regime. Sustained only through brute force. 2. An illigitimate regime cannot long exist with a liberal, free society at its border. for example, A. China (N. Korea, Russsieee, N. Vietnam) B. Russsieee (Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, China) C. Iran (Syria, Iraq) 3. Ultimately it is up to the PEOPLE to overthrow the illegitimate regime - as we see in Syria, USA, France - And with the Maidan revolution in Ukraine! Slava Ukraini!! Therefore it's essential that Ukraine sits at the negotiation table and can evaluate any detail to avoid any tricks by RU. The Ukrainians are the insiders that know the mechanics behind the scene best!
Poroshenko, the former president of Ukraine, tried to implement the rule "no talks about Ukraine without Ukraine". Since he was not able to just accept the annexation of Crimea and Donetsk Luhansk oblast parts he was deemed the warmonger, dangerous nationalist and stuff... Everyone should have listened to Ukraine earlier. Since 2014.
Excellent summary of the Russian strategy. Ukrainian supporters (I include myself in this group) must start highlighting this agenda and lobbying hard BEFORE January 20th. Russia will be doing everything it can to distract western leadership on the run up to any negotiations. Please share Ander’s video with everyone you can!
Ukrainian supporters have burned all their bridges to the Trump administration, with the emotional name-calling. All the criticisms made about Putin, are also regularly levelled against Trump by this community - so he is unlikely to take them seriously.
Just a bunch of wishfull thinking. I especially liked the "ukraine acheiving prosperity with the west" part. While the west is heading to financial collapse.
So what is it that Anders revealed about Russian strategy. All he said was Russia is not seeking land, it wants a political sphere of influence in Ukraine. The Americans tried to do the same by arrange a coup in Ukraine in 2014. Actually, Russia was only seeking a security guarantee that Ukraine will not be used to put US missiles and naval bases targeting Russia. Anyhow, it does not matter what Anders thinks was Russian strategy, he recognises the war is lost and Ukraine will be abandoned by the US.
Thank you for explaining this. I had been guilty of looking at the war as mainly about territory but a war for influence changes the balance required for a successful Ukrainian outcome
It's also a war of security. The Russians KNOW that NATO is going to be deploying a new hypersonic missile in 2026. If they put it in the right places they'd be able to hit moscow with less than 10 minutes warning. One of those ideal launch locations is North-Eastern Ukraine. Just look at how close the Ukraine border is to Moscow if you need proof. The Russians cannot and will not allow a threat like that to exist so close to their capital any more than we would allow a similar Russian threat to exist in Cuba or Mexico.
I went Poland when the USSR existed. Poland was a satalite state under the Russian thumb and the Polish people did not like it. So I can see your point fully, its the Russian way of controlling things and has not changed.
Just look what happened to Czechoslovakia in 1968. Russia don't want or need allies and don't really care about economic or cultural influence or "soft power" either, they want to have more power via direct control.
The Finlandization of Ukraine is what Russia wants....Ask Finland, being the object of that process, what they thought of it. I'd say their enthusiastic membership in NATO (and their enthusiastic cooperation with NATO for years before) is a pretty good indicator of whose side they want to be on.
What are you talking about?? Ukraine did vote on joining NATO, and majority of the population voted for a president that leaned Russian way and not NATO. After that we funded Ukrainian nationalist to stage a coup to remove the democratic elected president of Ukraine and installed a candidate of our own choosing. Referring to Victoria Nuland famous phone call.

That's the problem- there are a hundred opinions, many of them utterly wrong. QV Mearsheimer. Anders is just one voice. Our problem in the West isn't an evil cabal ruining everything, it's simple incompetence & "semi-corruption" (QV list of FDA executives who joined Big Pharma).
The greatest threat to putin's russia always has been & is Ukraine following the path of Poland, successfully integrating into the EU, thriving & leading by example. Thanks Anders for reminding us of this.
They can keep "allies" only by force because no one wants to be part of Russian sphere of influence unless there is absolutely no way out of it. Even the fiercest panslavists changed their minds after understanding how Russian politics works (please do not mistake Russian politics for Russian people which are often great and I like them).
Fantastic video. I’ve been saying the same since before the invasion began and been frustrated endlessly by my country’s leadership refusing to recognise reality. Unfortunately, it seems the West has never wanted Ukraine to win. Western leadership has wanted Russia to voluntarily choose to withdraw from Ukraine by making life difficult for Russia. This view is detached from reality. Russia will not choose to withdraw; the Russian Army must be driven out by force. The West has to realise this unpleasant but necessary fact, or else the eastern members of NATO will be next. Russia can only be stopped by force: Ukrainian military force, or Western military force. At present, we are led by men and women who make Neville Chamberlain look brave in comparison are it will lead to us being unready for any direct conflagration with Russia. Really like your work Anders. Best wishes from the UK

I wish he was leading the EU in defence strategy but then the politicians do not listen I suppose, Germany is currently number 2 contributor which is a big improvement from their initial stance, UK is third, France, Italy and Spain are still laggards in the Donor department and want to triple their aid, Germany and UK will need to double it!?!
What makes you think Trump doesn't largely understand and agree with Anders. See what I posted above. Trump's peace plan apparently involves European NATO members putting troops in Ukraine to guard its borders. This would effectively isolate it from Russian pressure. Trump isn't pro-Putin or anti-Ukraine. He is opposed to the US being the critical guarantor of Ukrainian sovereignty and supplier of weapons and finances. He sees the issue as a European problem for Europeans to solve and I am beginning to agree with him. If the Europeans and Ukrainians agree to his vision, and the Europeans step up their physical support, but Putin does not, I think Trump will actively and aggressively support Ukraine.
When they won't even let Arnold Schwarzenegger (who has lived and contributed much to the USA for 40+ years) run, they're not going to let a non-resident run.
It sounds like your view is that Russia wants the same thing out of a peace treaty as Germany wanted at Munich, 1938. Nazi Germany annexed the border regions of Czechoslovakia, and maintained a decisive, destabilizing influence in the rest of what is now Czechia. Slovakia lost territory, and became a Nazi sattelite. In your scenario, "Peace In Our Time" means giving Russia Crimea and Donbas, along with a decisive influence over the rest. A sense that the West has "betrayed" Ukraine will spread disillusionment and even anti-Western sentiment in Ukraine, and Putin knows this.
@@niarlatotepbasset they said it was a far stretch in 1938 with Hitler. Do you know how many Russian officials in Putin's administration have talked about invading Finland, Poland, estonia, etc??
Finally, a realistic analysis/assessment of the cause and circumstances of this fire conflict. The analysis was made by a professional and not by some ideologically motivated politicians. The last named category, before they could only escalate the conflict by various means, in a democracy they should ask the people before they initiate various actions that may affect the security of their own countries.
All I can say is thank you for putting in words for everyone to hear what is important to protect in Ukraine: its independence and free will and the means to achieve them.
Good video. It is also about territorial gain. The occupied area creates a land-bridge to Crimea defending multi road access and the fresh water supply from the Dnipro to Crimea.
Anders didn't mention Russia will need just one more small piece of territory - Odessa and Nikolaev regions, to disconnect the remains of Ukraine from the sea = to control its grain exports and to prevent military supplies by sea. The other territory is of no use.
Anders is spot on with his analysis. We need to help share his expertise and coverage of this conflict to as wide an audience as possible, particularly to our politicians.
To put it in a nutshell, what Russia wants is for Ukraine to be another Belarus. If Russia can achieve this it potentially gives Russia another launch platform to use in much the same way as it used Belarus to launch attacks into Ukraine at the start of the war.
Great show It was very well received What you were talking about really put the situation that's going on with the war was very smart way of looking for a final solution to end the war The solution is complicated Thanks for sharing that with us You hit the Neil on the head On target I salute you my friend God bless you ❤😂
Brilliant analysis (as usual) Anders. So the big question that remains is how do we get the relevant people in the West to properly understand what Russia really wants and how that will effect Ukraine, and in turn European security in the long term, so they don’t keep making the same wrong assumptions and end up gifting Russia a deal that Putin really wants?
European security is fine. If you are talking about what Putin will do further in Europe after Ukraine .. forget it .. there are no plans for that from Russian gov’ and in a recent interview he laughed off suggestions that Russia would fight NATO .. they simply don’t have the resources nor will/ reason to do that. Ukraine is very much the focus.
Anders is for sure one of, if not the best analyst on this topic in Denmark. But as i follow his channel here, iam starting to think maybe even globally ......well done!
The only situation that’ll work = a frozen conflict in which VP can keep his army in the field. He can’t allow 500k+ bitter troops w/PTSD, addictions & weapons access returning, which’ll also crash the economy.
I think he would sell a ceasefire for his people. russian won't likely be punished for its action, they grabbed some land and now it's some kind of peace time. Yep, it may be dangerous for the regime in the middle term prospect, but given russians compliancy and inclination to be poor and deprived, I doubt there will be a revolt.
Absolutely spot on! While quite a few people feel VP won’t accept a peace deal, I think we will since it’s most likely he will get one that is favorable
@@anderspuckin this sense it is frozen since 2014 which prevents NATO membership, although that wasn’t on the table anyway because Putin got his way in 2008 with several NATO countries agreeing that Ukraine would not be invited. Thank you, Anders, for this crucial information. The politicians in the US are very likely not looking at it the way you describe it and will likely give muscovy exactly what it wants.
We’ve been told that Russia is running out of weapons and ammo since the early months of the war. So I am skeptical on that point. Russia’s primary war aim is keeping Ukraine out of NATO. So I don’t see any peace plan including NATO membership. Moreover, the war itself is a test for any Security guarantees. If any country wants to come to Ukraine’s aid, they should be doing this now, but they are not. It seems like Russia will achieve its strategic goals, whether through negotiation or war.
You can consult Perun's latest video and Covert Cabal on Russian equipment losses. While it's true that some (the less reliable) western sources claimed such things, people like Anders didn't. Also the war isn't a full test of a Nato agreement, it's only a testament how the older less binding papers (which were purposefully written to be like that) are abandoned by the West and Russia.
If the primary aim was keeping Ukraine out of NATO, that was achieved in 2014- the border conflict prevents a country joining NATO... This isn't about NATO membership, notice how Finland joining NATO didn't invite Russian troops to cross its border.
@ Ukraine never recognize the annexation of Crimea, which could have been retaken with NATO assistance (removing all NATO assistance is also a war aim of Russia). Finland’s membership in NATO does not pose the same strategic threat, particularly without major infrastructure improvements. Ukraine poses a unique threat because it turns Belarus into a salient which undermines Russia’s most vulnerable flank.
Well…we see Russian “soviet”bases with tanks the last 50 years fully empty now, we also see Russians in ladas, motorcycles and crappy bmp.. It will never run out completely, but the hit in quality of the troops and mechanise units is visible … very visible
Yeah, that does clarify it in a way I think most people could understand. It's like... it always felt like it wasn't about land to begin with, but it was hard to put into words.
You are amazing, I served during the Cold War and our AO was the Fulda Gap. It was where we were going to die. Those of us who were aware of our mission would meet and talk, a kind of therapy. I was the old man at 20 and we couldn’t understand why they hated us so much, we had been their allies. We presented no offensive capabilities unless their tanks feared my awesome Jeep. At that point we were pulling heavy units further back. Here we are again, they are in no peril, they hate. One might call it pure evil. Their people have lived in shit under the boot of some asshole for centuries and know nothing but fear and hate. They are like a rabid dog. It makes me very sad for them. I hope our leadership gives a shit for our young kids, of every free nation, huddled together, trying to understand hate and preparing for their impossible mission. We need to free Ukraine now!
Exactly. From 1991, though, we thought that ruzzia could be trusted, as it left Communism behind. Turns out that the problem was not so much Communism as the psyche of ruzzia itself, as amplified by Vladolf Putler.

Nord Stream 1 line left, but you don't use it. And gas is still going through Ukraine to Germany. Let me remind you. Germany was buying Russian gas from 70ies. All that time you got cheaper gas than Austria or Poland. Nord Stream was built to make your gas more ecological and cheaper.

Hey Mr Ukrainian:
As an American, tell me one thing, when the hell did Putin ever suggest, insinuate or formally state his desire to subjugate all of Ukraine.
'"great russian empire which never loses wars" (it does lose them regularly by the way).'
The Russians are not going to lose this one - according to the video. And Ukraine will not exist.
Ukraine had one chance to be an independent country and you blew it by selling yourself to America. Oh, I agree, Jay. Here's an example: Failure to provide weapons that offer asymmetrical advantages to Ukraine must necessarily lead to questions about the actual objectives of assistance to Ukraine.
@@georgine321 Maybe he was thinking of those Russian proxies, useful idiots from the west ,globalist and politicians sold to Putin . With such individuals most-likely Russia will win. Canada is full of them as well.

Neville Chamberlain would be so proud of many western leaders, peace in our time as they say.
He gets a bad rep, he was a lovely man who saw horror after horror. In the end brtian lost all its power
At least, Chamberlain had to deal to the aversion to conflict after the horrors of WWI and he didn’t have the example of a "former Chamberlain". Now, failing to see what is happening is almost criminal
With the distinction that Chamberlain had seen World War I 20 years before, whereas the west now is just complacent (greedy, lazy, ignorant).
Trump would like to wave a paper and say "peace in our time" but he's not the sharpest foreign policy tool in the... office... building... complex.

Spot on Anders! Thank you for lifting this topic. You are the beacon in a world of disinformation. 🙌
Thank you for your detailed analysis. As a Russian, I really value someone being able to understand the situation and explain it in detail.
Although no matter how close the end is, even a tiny piece of captures territory will be sold to Russian people as a “victory”, which will buy Putin another term. But without the real victory, his years will be numbered.
It pains me to see someone with a depth and sophistication of understanding and realize it's not shared by national leaders.
So what do you think the west should do? Send in more weapons? Put 10s of sancrions on Russia? That didn't work, send their places to enforce no fly zone or send troops? Or should ukriane mobilise 18 year olds? There are no longer good options left for ukriane and people need to realise that
It was actually shared by many national leaders - but those leaders have since been voted out by the public.
Western leaders are selected by how controllable they are. Usually by blackmail.
That's pretty common. If you expect depth and sophistication from national leaders, you are going to be very disappointed.

Therefore it's essential that Ukraine sits at the negotiation table and can evaluate any detail to avoid any tricks by RU. The Ukrainians are the insiders that know the mechanics behind the scene best!
Hope they don't think they can trust ruzzia... or that the West will defend them when pootin doesn't honor any agreements.
Since 2014.
Ruzzia will never negotiate in good fate.
it's just continuation of the war with difrent means.
Ukrainians are pretty cunning themselves, they will smell russian bullshit.
The Ukranians know the Russians very well
Excellent summary of the Russian strategy.
Whether Russia is out for land or for political control, neither Ukraine nor west can stop it. You tried to stop it, but you lost the war.
Just a bunch of wishfull thinking. I especially liked the "ukraine acheiving prosperity with the west" part. While the west is heading to financial collapse.
I doubt there will be any negotiations, too many sides want too many and often different things, but time will tell.
Дякую вам за підтримку. Ви кажете правильні речі. Thank you for your support. You say the right things.
Thanks Anders that was very helpful.
So I can see your point fully, its the Russian way of controlling things and has not changed.
you don't have to go back that far. just look at Georgia, Moldova and of course Ukraine prior to the current war.
Just look what happened to Czechoslovakia in 1968. Russia don't want or need allies and don't really care about economic or cultural influence or "soft power" either, they want to have more power via direct control.
And what ? The USA is a country that stays within its own borders and keeps its nose out of foreign affairs?🤣🤣🤣

Anders once again is spot-on with his analysis. I like it when he is outdoors, tho. 😸🐈
A sense that the West has "betrayed" Ukraine will spread disillusionment and even anti-Western sentiment in Ukraine, and Putin knows this.
give everything the west? hand over everything to west and USA and submit youself to america that you want
That’s a very faaaar stretched.

Anders, hats off to you, you're such a clever guy. This video explains some very important parameters perfectly.
Thank you for this up to date video. Strength And Love And Accuracy.
To put it in a nutshell, what Russia wants is for Ukraine to be another Belarus.
If Russia can achieve this it potentially gives Russia another launch platform to use in much the same way as it used Belarus to launch attacks into Ukraine at the start of the war.
No, russia just want to be along with Belarus and ukraine, as 500years ago.
Afaik it’s not 1975 and launch platforms are in the ocean and space AROUND THE GLOBE, so it doesn’t seem to likely that it is about the launch pads…

Not only to understand but to care!

The only situation that’ll work = a frozen conflict in which VP can keep his army in the field. He can’t allow 500k+ bitter troops w/PTSD, addictions & weapons access returning, which’ll also crash the economy.
I think you are right about that.
You described what happened in Russian Empire at the end of the Russo - Japanese war.
Putin has been working on political influence for a long time. 2003 with political interference and Tulsa Island, barely 2 years after taking office.
Thank you, Anders, for this crucial information. The politicians in the US are very likely not looking at it the way you describe it and will likely give muscovy exactly what it wants.
I am pretty sure the federal US government has experts who know all this. But they will not be listened to by the most incompetent cabinet ever.
Great analysis, this needs to be heard. Thank you mr Nielsen!
They're running out of reserve, but not running out of production. That a problem lot of people are misleading
Excellent analysis.
Critical thinking by the narrator, something that is sorely lacking in most media today on either side of the fence. Thanks.
