Interesting how they played the hip hop/r&b artist segment (grouping them all together, having subpar audio for them, etc.), and who would have thought that they'd end up vulturing so much of our culture and still continue to do so til this day. You even hear hints of hip hop/r&b in country music these days lol

Wow, this is a breath of fresh air, 90's music was one of the best eras in music, this really put a smile on my face, each of those artist that came out has true talent, no gimmicks or tom fullery lol, I was born in '82, and I definitely remember all the females trying to get their finger nails like Coko's in the early 90's she was iconic for those claws lol! All of those artist have come and hone SWV are the only one's who are still in the public eye.Kudos to great music!!!
Funny ho they jammed all these black r&b artists together in one segment but gave those white rock bands nobody knew like 15 fucking minutes a piece. And '93 was the year of R&B...nothing was hotter than R&B that year.
Exactly! meanwhile the white artists were given a decent amount of time to perform by THEMSELVES instead of sharing the stage with others. That is so messed up man!

This was back in a time when there were so many awesome artists out there who got a chance to shine. And you had a choice of some great music.Not like the messy sh#t that's going on in the music biz today. People seem to be brain washed into thinking that there can only be one artist out there and everyone has to love that one. SMH.... Social media has ruined so much!

One of my fave medleys. Ever.
The world was much louder back when this music was out. There was nothing more important to me and many others than seeing how loud you could blast a song at stoplights. I use to make mirrors vibrate all around me with my amp and box in the trunk. I got a ticket one time because my music was so loud that a cop noticed I had an expired inspection sticker. All I had money for back then was for a gallon of gas. All dates and action was in my car.
