Thanks for the video bro I actually had a Grom before but sold it due to life. I was looking to get another grom but Didn’t like how the 2021 model looked and was looking at the Duke 390. But this video actually reminded me why I needed one in nyc. A lot of good points.

I would say it is worth it to daily a mini-bike type grom bike. I'm going to do it. I took the MSF course and got the license. They let you ride Grom's there. Nice size, saves money, fast enough to handle all city streets and heavily reliable. I hope you enjoy. #RIDE_SAFE
I should get a camera. You’re right. I haven’t started lane splitting. I just move over to the empty lane at the red light. Then, the big truck coming behind me tries to tail gate me and honks. If I’m in front, I think I have the right of way. I also go about 5 mph over the speed limit. 50 in a 45 mph road. Running me off the road. Yeah. It’s a little scary. People are pretty evil. A motor vehicle is a lethal weapon. You can kill people with your v6 truck or car. I guess it’s no big deal to them because they are self-centered. God bless.
Did you know that the groms have a quick shift built into them all you do is pull the throttle and kick up👌 don't need the clutch until you're dropping down in gear
hell ya i rode mine in santa clarita ca for 4 years straight just moved rural in western kentucky. i need to fix the motor it lost most of power and white smoke before i moved. at 28k miles. but ya ill be riding it here soon as winter is over. i rode year round in cali but here its freezing lol. and ya highways make it so you can take it anywhere. and man i loved lane splitting and getting to work a lot faster then in the cage.
Whoever says groms aren’t reliable is straight trippin.. it’s a Honda. cheap asf to fix too if you drop it break some parts. over 100 miles to the gallon
You say people try hitting you. Are you sure it's not because you are in and out of lanes and cut your way all the way to go the front, that's kind of an aggressive move, weirdos can take the wrong way.
@@TiaMuse Legal does not mean the rider would just an a-hole by squeezing in-between vehicles even when the space is too tight. If you want to do lane splitting, then do it correctly and safely.
Oh yeah it can definitely do it! I daily my grom 30 miles to work and then 30 miles home so a round trip of 60 miles each way almost 5 times a week! Still pulling strong!!
From someone who has ridden 1200s and owned 500s and 650s… the 125cc Grom is a real bike… as well as the Z125 which I now ride and can say it is my all time favorite.

No you can not sadly.. in California a bike has to be 150 cc and up to able to go on the freeway
