I usually use yellow/orange/red in September, then shift to blue/purple/orange in mid October. Closer to Halloween. I’ve even been known to keep my maple leaf sprigs off my mantle until mid September 😅. I like to ease into fall I guess lol. Maple leaves in fall decor are a big deal here in Canada. It gets kind of interesting here too because thanksgiving and Halloween are both in October. November, is usually Remembrance Day for all our veterans ❤ so Red poppies usually come out in our house right after Halloween 🎃
LOVE mostly all of it!!!Here’s what I picked up>the little fall gnome holding mushrooms…the $16 stacked pumpkins in pale greens, a large off white pumpkin pillow for my primary bedroom… I think that’s about it at Walmart this year….Oh, wait, I also got 2of those small pumpkins that look handcarved but yet are flocked….last year I purchased quite a bit of the greenery for porch arrangements, as well as inside the house…..these last FOUR days I have been RE-decorating for fall….ALMOST done, and ive got a large house!!! i’m in the Pacific Northwest.
