Speedy was only 0.09s behind him. He was also leading for most of the time.

Out of all the races Green Ducks could have missed, it had to be when Crazy Cat's Eye were not even in the top 10. A huge missed opportunity.
Especially considering that they're two points behind the Thunderbolts and three ahead of Team Momo. A decent performance could've set them up nicely to finish second.
Don't despair! They need to see support more than ever!
While this is disappointing, we should also be glad about the fact that we're still one of only four teams that is still able to win the season.

16 marbles going into Turn 5 on Lap 1 is not going to be a peaceful one.

They had to! Could you imaging the mounting number of crashes and injuries that would have resulted had they not?
For real, I was cringing each time a marble made that turn.

Starting position means NOTHING for the Midnight Wisps! The single best race in all of marble history!
From 16th to 1st, lost half positions gained at one point and lost 1st for a brief moment as well but still became the winner!
Sadly it does mean a lot to crazy cats eyes :( but I am really happy that the midnight wisps are getting up there!!!

I did say that the podium meant nothing this circuit, plenty of places to loose speed or overtake. I'm just glad for Wispy's sake that Wospy is pulling his weight now with flair.

Camera wasn't on them but looks like Pulsar took a hard hit on the attenuator on lap 8...they were having such a good run too, but were shaken after that incident

Very poor luck for our boy. He had dropped a bit by that point but it was still a decent run but after that it was all downhill.

He wound up with an over four-second gap between himself and Yellup in the next place up, too.

You know what? Yeah, on that, Speedy is a very commendable racer in Marbula One alongside the several other racers that have been performing well
Well Speedy is the reigning champion of Marbula One, no wonder he can bring the whole team on his shoulders. With this performance he is back in the run for the individual championship, and let's not forget with one DNF during the season. The best Marbula One racer in this moment in my opinion. Let's hope Rapidly get back to form for the next season.

Are we absolutely certain that the Limers are completely spherical? I’m a diehard fan but I find myself struggling to comprehend how a marble team can have such little talent for rolling. 🟢🟢
At this point I'm not sure if i should be happy for them to qualify or not because then i have to watch them slip to last for another 10 minutes the next day
I mean, they have 19 points more than the Jungle Jumpers, so....that's something, right?
They like giving us hope these days but in the end we always slip to last place

I just feel like crying every race. Usually in my times of need I look to the green ducks for some comfort cause as long as my second team is doing ok I'll be fine. But where were they today in my time of need!? And when the crazy cats eyes were failing. I can't win. And neither can they XD.
Speedy doing the most! Speeders have 70 points, and its all Speedy. Rapidly has ZERO points and the Savage Speeders are in 5th. Imagine if Rapidly had even a few points. Man...

Thunderbolts like to play the long game. Had they not failed to qualify in the last race they'd still be within striking distance of the Crazy Cats Eyes
The best marbula one race i've ever seen in my life. Lot of overtakings and 1st place battle. And Wospy's pass on Speedy reminds me of Kimi's pass on Fisichella at 2005 Japanese GP and Button's pass on Vettel at 2011 Canadian GP.

Midnight Wisps with a shock win at Palette Park, overtaking Speedy with one lap to go. Hazers with a long-awaited third-place finish, finally starting to get their season 1 mojo back. Crazy Cat's eyes with no points after qualifying 15; #QuackAttack can breath a sigh of relief as they are still in contention for the championship title. Overall a very lopsided race but good to see a different face on the podium.

It's the hope that kills me. We always seem to gain a few places in the first few laps... Then just gradually fall further and further back. Same last season.

Smoggy is a m1 legend i know he was going to make the podium i was expecting him to win base on the type of track but I'm happy for the 3rd place could have been worse

Came here for this comment, half the time I didn't even know whether i should be looking for Momo in the front pack or at the tail! I also can't believe we've managed to stay within reach of the championship after our poor performances of late...still, there's a chance for Momo!

You gotta wonder how much of Red Eye's performance was an engineering decision to save wear and tear on the marble as we head into the last few races. Or if they knew their set up just wouldn't work on such a short course. Rather than reinvent everything for one course, did they settle in and accept the L with an eye on the overall championship?
I was thinking this too. Red Eye seemed a little unprepared and unbothered. Why waste too much resources on such a short track.

lol, reading way to much into it. They've already wrapped up the championship for all intents and purposes, they're in cruise control now. Although i think it's disappointing that Red Eye would be so lax about this race, since the single marble championship is still up for grabs between him and Yellow Eye.

CCE do best on tracks that have long straights that allow them to get up to their top speed. This track just wasn't in their favor.
Maybe they've just lost focus... Crazy Cat's Eye takes after their friends, the cats, a little too much sometimes...
Now seriously, who told Red Eye that we had entered the second half of the season?
The track didn't suit him, so he took it easy. They have the lead to survive an off week.
This wasn't a good track for him... but look for CCE to bounce back next week

O'Rangers management really needs to reconsider their racers for next season.
Agreed. Clem has been serviceable at least (9th in the individual standings) but Orangin just isn't cutting it.
Just bring Kinnowin and swap Orangin next season
He's a decent racer but can't manage a good starting position. From 5th to 15th in one lap, but the fight back wasn't so bad.
If only he could manage to race good from the start.
Honestly, she gave it her all. The first lap fiasco was unfortunate, but she did claw her way back to the top half pretty quick.
Just to point out that things were a total opposite last season, Orangin had to carry everything, and they still got 3rd team placement. This season it has been a rollercoaster with more downs than ups, though... Maybe the internal rivalries are tearing up the whole team? Tough spot for next year's roster negotiations...
I support FOUR teams: Oceanics, Raspberry Racers, Green Ducks and Bumblebees... 3 of them were out of the race and the other was dead last. This week has been rough guys

Wospy: Wooof. Fascinating. I don't even believe it myself. There were many laps ahead for the comeback, it was very short at the beginning, and then, in the first position, with Speedy next to me, as usual, it was long. But well, the important thing is that I was able to keep my concentration and take the win.
Interviewer: What do you have in mind for the rest of the season, since it is mathematically impossible to win the championship?
Wospy: Win, win and win again

The points gap in the team standings between 1st and 2nd (CCE to Thunderbolts) is greater than the gap between 2nd and 19th (Thunderbolts to Limers). Even after a no-points finish for Red Eye. Just goes to show how dominant CCE has been.
What a comeback by the Midnight Wisps! From finishing dead last in the qualifiers to taking first place in that photo finish with Speedy.

Orangin has been a HUGE disappointment this season. Clem hasn't exactly been burning up the track but is at least staying respectably middle of the pack. Time for a talk I think!
Hey! She might have fallen to 15th in the first lap but she crawled her way back into 4th at one point and ended a respectable 7th. Maybe she needs to work on her tactics at the start, but the dedication is there.

CCE took some time to rest on purpose. You think they couldn't qualify if they wanted to? It was strategic. It's like when you're up by a ton of points and you send in your B team. They just took some extra time to relax and train, they'll come back strong next race.

I swear the Jungle Jumpers have stage fright. They can actually get into lead positions.. but it seems like they REALIZE they're in the lead, realize they'd have to appear infront of everyone on the podium and shrink back.
I really hope they get over it soon, I'd love to see a JJ up on the podium - even if it is just for bragging rights at this point.
As a Limers fan I don’t remember the last time we had success, if ever

I'm betting 1 more lap and #SavageSpeeders would've gotten it with how insane the lead switches went. That sharp turn before turn 5, the very end of turn 4 where the 2 segments meet, made or broke 1st place.
Yea, Speedy got caught up there on lap 21 and Wospy got by, but the on the last lap Wospy got caught there, but was able to recover just enough to shut the door in Speedy's face. Really close racing.
Third place AND we get to host the next race? Let's go. I know we're out of the running, but I love to see it regardless.

Team Galactic, what the hell happened out there? You were a strong contender for the first few laps and then you just decided you'd had enough?
Something happened between Smoggy and Pulsar off-camera on Turn 1 in Lap 8. They go into the turn with Pulsar in 3rd and as the camera pans, Smoggy is in 3rd and Pulsar now has lost so much speed, allowing several other marbles to pass on the inside. Watch from 3:26 to 3:32 and tell me something doesn't look off. Whatever happened, they couldn't recover from it for the rest of the race.
Yeah, Pulsar got taken out. Not his fault when being targeted like that.
I was hoping CCE would put everyone out of their miseries.

Very exciting race for the O'Rangers. Wish we could've seen what happened just after the conveyor belt on lap 19 when he plummeted from 4th to 8th. Looked like a bad entry onto the belt dropped him from 4th to 6th, and it continued to go bad for him after that.
Fast, tight courses like this one aren’t the O’Rangers’ strong suit, but I’m actually impressed with the fight Orangin showed in staying in the top 10.
Dreadful start for Orangin though. :(

Good finish for the Thunderbolts from where they started! Still hanging onto the second overall! They need to start pushing forward more!
MY THEORY WAS CORRECT!!! The Crazy Cat's Eyes WILL eventually drop. If you look back at every one of their seasons, they're always doing good, and then sort of fade away. I think the Crazy Cat's eyes might have gotten to that. Luckily (for them) they've learnt from this and had such a good start that when they got their nerves (now) their lead would be so high they would get on the podium. Its nice to see that they learnt from previous seasons. Greg always talks about them like they have real feelings, and that just adds to the awesomeness of all of this.
The Thunderbolts, Green Ducks, and Momo lack the consistency needed to get over this hump. There is no way CCE will lose the top spot at this point.
The O’Rangers must already be looking ahead to the 2021 Marble League. They just haven’t been focused for this GP

It seems the thunderbolts weren’t able to take advantage of the Green Ducks not qualifying, but now we also have Momo and and maybe even the savage speeders and the hazers eyeing our spot. Come on Green Ducks one more great run to close out the season!
I wouldn’t be too worried about the speeders. Rapidly still has to race too and hasn’t had a finish above 15th this season.
Time to start pulling your socks up Orangin. Need to earn that elite salary you’re on. If you can’t win at least try to keep us ahead of the Savage Speeders.

Orangin's great at overtaking individual marbles but she's awful at drafting in a pack.
the difference between Speedy and oragin is that oragin individually is better, Speedy can Carey the whole team and still have a decent result
@@grvajhccjehtbk5083 Have heard from a good source (friend of mine who works pit lane security) that there are personal issues with Orangin. Apparently some substance abuse going on. Overdoing the old glass cleaner fluid by all accounts.

this qualyfing format and the red eye domination make soo hard to passionate about this season
That inside turn from the attenuator gave so many leads while that small barrier after the drop effectively pushed back so many unfortunate marbles. Interesting track made for such a chaotic sprint of a race. Congratulations to all!

Just WOW. We were really appreciate Pulsar for going from 14th to 4th on Rainforest, but this .. this is just disappointing
It's been a rough year, but Wospy showed a lot of heart out there and made all the adjustments we've been saying they need to make. Enjoy that gold, W! You've earned it!
Such a great performance by Tumult in the beginning, and then it wasn't even enough for podium due to Smoggy's overtake in the very last second... :( Ouch!
Bolt was so good at the beginning and now his speed is starting to fade. I’m happy he went up 5 spots, but before he was 2nd place so many times.
Still an improvement on his qualifying position though. #RollingThunder
Can't believe Ocean missed this race it so interesting as it's such a fast lap... Not sure I like the Q1 format, to have a fair championship everyone should be included so they actually have a chance.
They all have a chance to qualify. Running all marbles on a short track like this would cause a lot of bumping and could result in injury.

Wow, Orangin crashed all the way down to 15th in the first lap, then fought back to 7th. This track was a lot more competitive than I expected, but passing was hard!
The savage speeders , if they can't win they can get podium and still be the best team so far I was like shouting and chanting do speeders .lol
if they get the podium, it should just be Speedy up there all alone. Rapidly doesn't get a spot on the podium without getting any points

To be honest, I don’t really know what I expected from CCE, starting pretty much dead last, only getting a couple of spots. But Wospy, props to a podium finish from dead last! Amazing performance by everyone!

I just hope Galactic can rack up some decent points here. With their penchant for dropping spots towards the second half, I'm cheering cautiously.
Yep, if Galactic aren't sweeping through the field or dropping like a stone, they aren't racing.

The Cat's Eyes really need to get back onto the podium next race, otherwise they might start slipping down the standings. Although, Red Eye I've noticed seems to do better when there are more turns in a track and less straight-aways, so maybe this will just be the one off race for the CCCs
Looking at the standings, though, it seems like the CCE are almost guaranteed to win unless they score no more points and one of the other top teams wins every remaining race.
good thing CCE has loaded up on points so that they can afford some bad races. I doubt anyone will catch the Eyes at this point by why risk it? Red Eye definitely needs a more complex track for taking and keeping the lead.
CCE are up 69 points, and there are only 81 maximum points remaining for any one team (win all 3 races, pole, and fastest lap). 12 points throughout the last 3 races (or if the other top teams fail to score enough) will clinch the championship since they would win tiebreakers against the competing teams
@@RazTakasha ...and now they are up by a little more than 50. Red Eye and Yellow Eye are playing a dangerous game, daring everyone else to beat them while scoring no points. I am a CCE fan and would feel a lot better if they would put this out of reach in the next race.

Sad season from the Raspberry Racers so far. Ruzzy has lost all pace. Maybe time to shake things up and pick up an explosive rookie?
Every time I think my Jungle Jumpers are gonna surprise me and turn up with a big race we always end up at the bottom....pain

If they took the lead, even just once, they would have demolished everyone else. Too bad they kept bumping into the marbles they trued to overpass. Still, a great overtake in the end
