What really amazes me is to see all the drummers moving at exactly the same time, it is amazing to see them all hit their shots. Nothing like music can make humans move so in sync!
While practice is certainly part of it, likely it also has to do with Huygens synchronization where as osculating motion will come together as the same. It's a complex problem which Physics is attempting to solve but does not fully understand. there is a very cool breakdown of it on 'Vertasium" called "The secret of mass synchronization"
