It's easy for us to notice because we understand the language. It's difficult for them to remember the character names so they can't understand that it's a new story. For their sake, it has to be explicitly stated.

They portray themselves as humble and loving but in reality they just like to assert their dominance on others
I don't expect anyone to praise anything just to be liked. As a choreographer myself I can understand they pov and even I don't like every performance in the movie or certain parts. However, its another thing to REACT to a video and not pay attention. In part 1 they were presented with clear story and given reasons for why they cheated and why they were disqualified. 30 min in the movie and they're asking "why did they cheat?" and 15 prior to that they were saying "why aren't they fighting back to getting disqualified?". I always read the subtitle to see how accurate is the translation and it was pretty clear. that's the only this that annoys be about this specific reaction. If this is your work and you make a living out of it they pay attention to what going on

Movie might be a bit cheesy but the dance were really awesome. But they are just judging like the world's best dancers which is worst

Lmaooo they hated it 😂 Exactly my feelings! They (disney) took a small scale project, and in attempts to make it grand they stripped it of all heart. My reason to hate it was that, though mostly why the girls hated it is because they kept trying to relate it to the first film. I guess at any point they could have pressed pause and went to check the movie synopsis and that'd be the right thing to do.
Exactly my point. People too now are hating it bcoz the reactors didn't like it which again is bcoz they failed to realise that its a standalone movie. 1 and 2 were great but 3rd is the one which they shud avoid.
@mg9854 I still hated this movie for multiple reasons, one of those specially being them bringing in Shraddha. She looked really misfit in the dancer's crowd and she is neither a great actor to have compensated on the lack of dancing skills (she dances well for an actress, just not on par with the dancers) The only thing I like about this film are the grand sequences they did in the 2nd act, those were excellent! I just wish they gave more scope to the dancers like the first one. Many of them act decent enough.

I don't know man one of the worst reaction experiences I have ever seen felt like negative in each part but what to do I guess achara and jaby are the best . And also ABCD 2 is a franchise of ABCD but it is set in a different universe.
😅 I wouldn't consider their reaction bad, more like different perspectives, they have probably only seen movies where the second movie of the same Franchise is a continuation of the previous movie. Also they could have gotten bad English subtitles so they felt more confused about the plot than usual. I wouldn't say this movie is perfect but it's quite entertaining if they knew Hindi

@@rajkhandelwal1653I believe their argument is that the protagonist can cheat but he has to have a good reason to cheat, which the movie never explicitly says. Otherwise, it's not possible to root for the protagonist. I think it's a valid ask and a definite flaw in the movie. Vishnu also leaves the team and runs away with their money but the movie gives a good reason for that (he wanted to meet his son). I wish we had a similar reason for why they cheated in the beginning.

The first thing is that this movie is in a different storyline from the first one there is no connection. Also I don't think you understood the way in which they cheated they did not steal the routine of some other team from the same competition like the bad guy in the last abcd movie they performed the same routine as some other team entirely wich did that routine in some other competition a good amount of time back in some other show

The story Is not connected guys ... 1st and 2nd parts have 2 different stories
Normalise the following:
1. Giving context to the reactors. Like in this case this movie is an independent sequel.
2. Root for the main character no matter what.
3. Enjoy the movie like it is. Don't be so critical it's not serious.
Normalize people having different reactions to yours to the same thing and you being okay with it.

Hello cinedesi, if possible review the movie Maharaja which features Vijay sethupathy.
Although this is a sequel, the characters and plot are entirely different. If they had approached the film with this understanding, they wouldn't have had as many questions or been as confused. I appreciate their genuine reaction, as nobody wants a fake positive response. However, I feel they focused too much on the question of "why would they cheat" and overlooked the fact that they copied the choreography of an international team from the internet. Many skilled dancers struggle to create their own steps, which is why they sought out a choreographer like Vishnu. The emphasis on this issue was excessive. Regarding the jump cuts during the dance sequences, I agree that it can be challenging for viewers to stay invested. And I totally agree with how it didn’t make sense for Vishnu to dupe them just so that he could fly to Vegas and meet his son. I don’t know who’s suggesting them these films. They should watch Hum Tum, Fanaa, and Madgaon Express.

Few Points:
1. In India, unlike High School Musical or Step-Up, we don't have outright sequeles for every movie, even with same actors in same name, it is something called stand-alone sequel . For example, Lage Raho Munnabhai where Munnabhai and Circuit reprise their role from Original movie with same director but completely different story.
2. They cheated not for any major reason but what you would say inspired.
3. Movie is inspired from the journey of a real life dance crew by the name of "Ficticious Dance Crew" The Kings who won the Hip Hop Dance Championship in San Diego.
4. While inspired, a majority of chunk is fictional created for dramatic purpose.
5. Director Remo D'Souza, Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharcya are National Award Winning Choreographer, while majority of dancers apart from Varun and Sharddha are Professoional Dancers & Choreographers especially Dharmesh and Punit who are judges for a dance reality show. The dance is less impressive compared to first part is too accommodate Varun and Shraddha who are better actors but certainly not same level of dancers. Lauren Gotlieb while famous as an actress is a Professional Dancer.

The audacity to critique the music and dance groups.. the different dance groups shown in this movie are actual real life dance groups who performs on different stages.. I think they know more about hip hop.. the director gave them the liberty to create their own choreography and music.. it is as authentic as it can be..

When I first watched this movie, I was quite young, so I enjoyed watching it. After watching again, I realized that there are a lot cringe factors, a few dances are out of sync, Shraddha is not fitting into the dance group. I love that you guys gave your honest reaction. Do not give up. 😊👍
