    in ableton you can use funkarp mono a max for live device by ajja, which gives you a velocity, note length and gating control. simple and amazing. Thanks for asweome advices and tips

      Hey guys! Yes there are a few ways to do this in ableton. There are tools like the FunkArp, by Ajja that gives you control (and randomization) of velocity, note length and pattern -- but it makes a pattern that loops, so it's not exactly the same as in cubase. To do exactly the same you just need a couple max4live plugins. One is called "Density" which allows you to control the density of the midi notes. To control the note length you need two plugins. One is the built in "Note Length" and another is an LFO that has S+H random. I love XLFO (max4live). Set the lfo to S+H with divisions of 1/8 or 1/16, and assign it to the the gate length on the note length module.
      Hope this helps!

    what about in logic pro x?

    • @Maradnus
      @Maradnus 4 месяца назад +1

      Logic had gate setting in the left hand info panel
      for random note length you can use Logics MIDI FX to randomise the decay for a similar effect.
      or there are plugins like Stepic which can do this too.
      If you don't want to buy anything then you can use the MIDI transform under the functions menu in a region to make a few variations & then use them.. it's not long to constantly randomise. but its easily do able!

    is this possible in flstudio?

    • @MazaroAnonymous
      @MazaroAnonymous 3 года назад

      Yes, it has a random pattern generator.

    • @lukasmohlmann8749

      @@MazaroAnonymous Yes, but i would like changing randomness. if i make a 1 bar lead, randomize it and copy to the entire song, each bar would sound the same, wouldnt it?

      @@lukasmohlmann8749 I actually changed from Fl studio to Ableton because I needed these tools. I must say that Ableton is much easier to work with after spending years in FL. In Fl you can use the grossbeat with the repeater presets and then you have some gates in there. works quite good. But no random.

    • @Convolva
      @Convolva 3 года назад +2

      @@Rivessound FL does have randomizer inside the peak controller which you can link to things like gross beat to get the desired response.

      link peak or formula controller to the gate length of the arp (or each parameter you like) in the settings (MIDI) tab of your snyth :)
