XML Publisher Data Template Approach -Requires data model to be provided with SQL Query. In some scenarios constructing a single to provide the data is difficult, so the alternate approach is call the CUSTOM PLSQL Package to populate data in Global Temporary Table and use that GTT in the SQL to display the Report. This is similar to the concept used in most of the RDF Reports.
Lead Technologies Thanks for your reply, here in our case we took the SQL query from Per_People_x table and we feeded in CDATA section and we dont require any more SQL. In this case can we ignore package name which is in header? or do we have some dummy value for that? I do understand if variable declarations, cursors functions are used then we can give package name. Whereas in our case we dont need any logic here ...
